Stupid question, but since they ship in April do they charge the credit card in April or now (sorry, haven't paid attention in the past)?  I am still unsure about these. Part of me wants them for nostalgia, part becasue they are minor characters, and part of me says they are a waste. Price is not the factor since if I decide I want them, I'll buy them.
So, can anyone help me with the inital question?

Actually, I'm really jazzed about this set!  3 very obscure non-Jedi-non-Clone figures?  I'm in.  Yeah, it's a bit pricey, but as others have pointed out, much less than Target's exclusives.

I agree, I'm actually very excited about these.  Something totally different, plus two cool looking Coruscant chicks.

Man, that's over $8 a figure on top of outlandish shipping charges.  Gonna have to think about this one...

Well, unfortunately I think that the $8-10 per figure is going to be the standard for these box sets now when they are on-line exclusives...

That's the way it's been for the EE sets - it's too bad though that there is no "bulk purchase" option for these like the EE sets have offered.   :-\

I guess since the basic figures are moving to a $6-7 price point, we shouldn't be surprised at the cost.

With all that said, (even at the price of $40 each with the shipping) I ordered 2.   :-[

True dat.

I think these will sell out pretty quick as they are open to international orders.

Wait a sec, is everything available worldwide on swshop.com?

In  all honesty, they could have charged a lot more for this set.  Considering they charge about 14.00 for repaints, 3 all new sculpts plus one old figure could have been close to 50.00.  I think the price point is right on the money, really.  I don't mind paying 8.00-10.00 bucks for an obscure  figure that I know would never come out on a card

I ordered a set. I like them as background characters, and Lucas is a cool novelty.

But now that's 3 figures I didn't need to buy in the ROTS line: Obi-Wan, Bail and Zett. I'm tired of the double-dipping and I intend to return Bail and Zett in someone elses' packages. :P My receipts for those are too old to retrun. Let 'em send that junk back to Hasbro so they can choke on it.

Seeing the 3 new figures in this set gives me hope that Hasbro will make some more exclusive boxed sets.  Imagine a McQuarrie Concept Figure Boxed Set with Vader, Chewie, R2 and a repackaged Concept Stormtrooper.  That would be nuts.

Yeah I do like seeing NEW stuff sold as exclusives...  That's a plus.  I'd dig that McQuarrie set a lot myself as I think it's the best way to offer concept figures.  The Stormie sold well but I think that's a bit of a fluke honestly.  I love the concept stuff but I think Vader and the like would sit on the pegs if it got shipped as heavily as other new figures do.

From what I've seen, yes.  Except poor old Mexico, they don't ship anything there.
