Geez, don't apologize Greg!  Show that stuff off!  You've got some of the best customizing on the net, and we'd love to see a helluva lot more of it here at JD, even if a few of us have seen some of it elsewhere before!  Great customizing jobs like these are worth more than just a few looks.  Not to mention it helps other folks out there with their customizing projects and ideas as well...

It pretty much goes without saying, but your Sailbarge is a thing of beauty.  How long did it take you to complete it?  Did you catch that other one on eBay a couple months ago that went for like $3,500?   :o  Very nice as well...

You should swing by our Collections Forum and throw some of these sweet pictures of your Star Wars room(s) in there.  That setup of yours is just SICK!  You've got every single scene that the rest of us "normal" folks like to set up our figures in, but you do it 100x better with your incredible custom backgrounds and scenery that you add into ALL of yours.  Totally awesome dioramas...  Most jealous I am...   :'(   ;)

Keep up the great work Greg, and we look forward to seeing more of it here in the future!   8)

OMG that is awesome Greg...very nice work indeed :)

Is that only half of the barge, or did you only do half so you could mount it on a wall?

Thanks for all the kind words!  OCB, I would say it is about 2/3 the normal width (hard to see from those side shots, but a front or back shot would be clearer) and yes, it was specifically so I could attach it to the wall.  I loved that eBay version, but I wanted more of a diorama than a vehicle (his was a lot more sturdy with balsa wood, etc).  I would say the original took a couple hours a day for a few weeks, while the revamp took about a week's worth of time.

Just finished my newest diorama; here are some pics of the deleted scene droid lab (which shouldn't have been deleted!)

Wow.   Most impressive work as always Greg.  I don't know if I prefer you to post your pictures here for me to absolutely admire, or if I prefer not to see them so I don't have to feel so sick with jealousy...   :P  I guess they're awesome enough that I'll just stick with the first option, and just try to deal with my jealousy of your great customizing skills...   8)

So how long did that scene take you to put together?

Ha!  Thanks Matt- let me tell ya, I'm still not entirely happy with it (the perfectionist in me).  I'd say it took about 2 weeks of a couple hours a day.  It is all foamcore, posterboard, plastic globes from Michael's, and labels that I made in MS Paint and printed up.  I didn't have any photo references, so I had to keep going to the DVD- this made some of my measurements wrong since I couldn't look at a picture anytime I neede to.  But, I think it's good enough...

Daigo-Bah-

If Hasbro made playsets of your quality, I think we'd all be very happy collectors.
