Here's a decent pic - the latest Sith Lord came from figure on the bottom right.

Some of those skelatons would be good for crispy beru and owen.

CHEWIE - excellent update!  I really love those AT-AT Drivers!  Great use of that clone pilot figure, I might actually have to buy a few extras now that I know what can be done with them.  The Bacara head looks perfect.

I'm also digging that Trofarr the Terrible.  I was wondering what I could do with my extra AoD Knight figures  ;)  Did you completely repaint him?

DD - the Antilles head is too small for the Organa body.  It fits, however it's tiny (it's a bigger pea-head problem than the current Clone Pilot).
The scariest thing that I've ever seen,
Is the terrible AT-AT walking machine.
It's as big as a house on walking legs,
and whatever it steps on it crushes like eggs.

Hey Chewie - The At-At drivers are very smart customs indeed! They should include a mod like this for an evolutions set! Great work!

Thanks... that actually would make a pretty cool Evolutions set -

- AT-TE driver
- Kitbash AT-AT driver
- ESB AT-AT driver (all new sculpt)

I'd buy it!

Well, I finally got a hold of some epoxy putty to do some sculpting.  To practice, I decided to try and make a Quinlin Vos.  People always email or PM me telling me they think I should make more Jedi, so here's a start for me.

First of all, I have no idea what I am doing with sculpting.  Owen D. made a great Quinlin custom for a friend of mine, and I  wanted to capture the look he did.

Here is the excellent one that Owen made -

I really couldn't get things figured out, so I used some Tarfful braids and the epoxy... the result was a mop head that looks like Sideshow Bob from the Simpsons -

And here's mine.  I'm not very proud of it.  I'll probably try and make a better one later on, but it might be a while as I'm pretty frustrated with my sculpting abilities -

I'll probably make the area around his eyes darker... any other suggestions?

The dreads may be a little think but it is nothing to be ashamed of, it still looks pretty darn good. I like the head on your's better than owens, it seems to be a better match. I would have use a differt body, I don't like those boots but, that's just me.

And as for the last 4, sorry I didn't comment on them sooner:

Niemodian Hag- I like it I think it could use more drybrushing on the clothing though, it almost looks like you skipped it.

AT-AT Driver- Awesome! It is a fairly simple head swap but it looks like a natural transition form PT to OT. I'd buy this at retail.

Gran Terrorist Trofarr- Another great figure made with those AoD figures, I like this guy alot and it'll be cool to see him as part of the Badoo Corda.

Bail Organa- I don't have Antillies yet but from what I've seen I like him, I wish he had more articulation, but the sculpt is great and he really does nothing but walk upright through the hall anyways. It is a nice headswap.

Keep it up as always. :)

Not a bad job at all CHEWIE.  I definitely like the paint job (obviously) and the braids turned out fine.  I agree with SLC, the body is a little off (I pictured Vos to be bigger, not sure what body would match though) and the dreads at the top of the head are a bit thick.  Still, I think he turned out really well, especially considering you hadn't done much sculpting with epoxy putty before.

What head did you use? As for the hair it is a bit thick. But that can be fixed. Im not the worlds greatest sculpter either. I like it.

It looks great. I've rarely seen the hair done just like Quin's, but your version is better than most.

The only problem, for lack of a better word, I see is his arms. You see, Quin never had loose sleeves, they were always held down by what looked like bandages. Check out my post in the Reference thread for more info. :)

Thanks for all of the kind words.  I was afraid to post this one, it just sucks in my opinion.  I am going to probably start all over from scratch on a different version in a month or so.  I used the Secret Ceremony Anakin because I couldn't find anything the looked better in my fodder boxes.
