Where to begin?!

1. I really like the changes to Trisek. I thought he was good before, but toning him down and giving him the cloak make him a little more menacing. I'm also not sure I commented on this before, but nice work on the changes to his skin tone. No chance he'll be confused with his POTJ cousin.

2. Marliss is a great little concept figure. Any chance we can get a recipe on her? Also, is that hair or a hood? It looks great either way, but with the goggles it almost looks like a hood of some kind. She has that thug look with the color scheme, pouches and straps that you seem to be so good at creating consistently. I might steal this idea for the K.O.E. series as I have an odd idea for a little faction of my own, and someone like Marliss would fit right in :P

3. Alpha is sweet, CHEWIE. I'm not really familiar with his story, though. Should he have a scop/ant on his helmet? The weathering also looks very stock/Hasbro (that's probably because it is?) Nothing wrong with the off-the-shelf weathering, I just happen to know you're weathering tends to look better. :)

4. Freelo rocks - not just your figures of him, but the character you've created for him. I do agree with you that the arms looks a *tad* long, but I don't know that I'd resort to hacking him up to fix that. If he's going to appear in R.E. this way you can make some alterations to your photo angles to account for the arms.

5. Commander Skywalker is a great addition to your military Jedi ranks, and I cannot wait to see how he cameos in R.E. I'm not a huge fan of the Evo head, but given that he'll probably be hacking up seppies whenever he has the armor on, it's probably appropriate. :) Good job with the right hand, although it makes me think you could have left armor off the right arm altogether... that may have looked really odd, though. Hmmm...

6. Your Tredwell Medical Droid scares the hell out of me. I don't know why, but I find it scary as all get out. :) Nice work!

7. Quite possibly the coolest rendering of Shaak Ti ever... all those guys pointing to the chicks in Clone armor should look to Ti to see how it's done. :) I also like that you didn't feel like you needed to alter the armor for the benefit of the female Jedi. If they wanted to wear armor, I'm pretty sure they would have just picked up what the Clones were wearing and wouldn't have invested too much in custom fitting things. I cannot say enough about how impressed I am with this particular custom. I hope ST makes it into R.E., too, as I'd love to see her in ground combat before it's all over.

8. Judiss is one I'm just flat jealous over. I took one of my extra Ponda heads and tried to sculpt the "fang" details into the butt cheeks on his face. It didnt' work. I think your repaint is far more effective! (My Ponda head ended up a bare Aqualish skull, which is kinda cool in its own way... look for it to show up in K.O.E. as a prop before too long :P )

9. The Labor Droid is an interesting concept. Does it ride on the treads most of the time and only launch off its base when absolutely necessary? If there was a way, it'd be neat to see pinchers on the ends of the arms to make him more of an FX-7-ish droid without the launching ability. Dedicate him to his base and make him a field surgeon. :) He looks like he could take (and has taken) a blaster bolt or two without much of a problem.

I hope you feel better, man. I didn't comment elsewhere as I have opted to hit all your new additions here. Forgive the lack of comments on RS.

As always, very nice work.

InRem - Thanks for all that feedback.  Yes Alpha in the comics has an antenna on the helmet, for some reason I just don't like that antenna so I left it off.  I did do a bit of weathering, but the camera flash seemed to wash out what I did.  Don't worry about not posting at Scum, I'd much prefer it to be here if it's just one of the two sites.

Hemble - I like the Jedi too, especially Shaak Ti.  Not sure if I like her cape though.

Jediknight - You remembered the scientists!   8)

And thanks for the well wishes, I'll be fine.  I just need to see a specialist about it (took me a long time to go to see a doctor about my insomnia and I realize that was a mistake).

shaak ti awesome. no really that's really really cool.  i've started on making a female jedi general in armor and i think i'm gonna have to steal that idea of shortening the skirt i hadn't thought of that it looks really good.  trisek i don't know about the white "nostrils" if that's what they are.  though if you used a darker color you'd probably not even see it.  marliss the left forearm looks a little long or maybe it's just the angle.  but good looking figure.  are those palps hands or padmes?  i like the scientists a lot.  i don't know what species maul is but i wondered what they'd look like besides black & red.  judiss is cool are those tusken hands?  does he wind up betraying somebody in the story?  just thought you might be going for a judas/judiss kind of thing.  the labor droid i think is my favorite droid i've seen thus far.  anakin is looking really good, though i'm not a big fan of soft goods,  i like the addition of the rots hand makes for a good progression.  hope you're feeling better.

jedipurge - Thanks, I do like how Shaak Ti turned out, plus she's really articulated.  I only cut the skirt because I wanted to see how it would look with the clone armor showing, it turned out much better than I thought it would.  On Trisek - those are actually teeth (or some sort of tusks) - they are kind of bright, so I should probably tone them down a bit.  Maul is Zabrak species.  Judiss - yeah those are Tusken hands.  And the name is in reference to Judas from the Bible.  I had toiled with an idea of him being a traitor, then thought against it.  But now I am leaning back in that direction.  Actually, I have an idea that I'd like to discuss with you via PM.

smarty -  l like the labor and tredwell droids a lot - seems like most people agree with you that they don't like that Anakin head.  I think I'm the only person around who thinks that's the best AOTC Anakin head around.  Sorry to hear about your grandfather, hang in there and be there for your family.

And I'm feeling a little better... but when I am at home I start feeling worse.  I think I may be allergic to something here at the house.

And I am putting some more customs up for sale - check the Classifieds Section if you are interested in any of these!  I need to clear out a little more space and get a few more bucks for Christmas shopping... and if anything is left by Friday night, they will probably go to ebay.  Thanks guys!

Thanks Glassman, and those are just some older customs mainly, just to clear out some space, and try and help out my finances this month.

And Jedipurge, I'll PM you back with more details.

Also, I tried really hard to get something rolling here to get a photonovel page or hosting on this site, but it never came to fruition.  Finally though it looks like the Rykrof Enloe series is being updated on a regular basis at www.thecustomalliance.com - with an all new presentation style!  Check it out!

Hey, I apologize for me missing your last update. I really like General Ti the most, haven't really seen and 3.75 inch customs of her, and I like the clone armor on him. That's a nice uniform for Freelo, fits his character well.
My whole expanse...I cannot see...

No biggie on missing one of my updates.  It's hard to keep up around here sometims for everyone.   ;)

Oh and a heads up, here's the current listings of my customs for sale

My good friends in the customizing have made this possible - I've been able to sell 7 lots so far, which helps me out a bunch.  I really appreciate it my friends.

Since there are three lots left -

Option One -

I'll offer to do this - for each lot that is bought, if there is a figure in it that you would like for me to modify a bit more, please let me know.  For instance - the Mace Windu - I could weather that some and probably make his tunic look a lot better.  Just let me know.

- OR -

Option Two -

I can take out one figure from the auction and replace with a CT Stormtrooper (sorry, no accessories)

This will of course apply to tonight's purchaser of Lots 8 and 10 - PM me and let me know please.

I will make those as option on all future lots!  - Let me know what you think of that?

Thanks and here's the Classifieds Thread again - http://www.jedidefender.com/yabbse/index.php?topic=10060.0

Stay tuned, I might have a couple more customs up tonight, one of Rykrof that I think everyone will really like.

Rykrof Enloe (battle gear)

I am *floored*. Absolutely floored. This is quite possibly your coolest all 'round custom yet, CHEWIE. I don't know if it's because I'm such a fan of the series or what, but this just screams cool to me. Seems like he could pull on a helmet if he wanted, but he certainly doesn't need one. I'm trying to think of a suggestion to improve him (maybe having a helmet *available*?), but really can't think of anything that would materially improve on the custom.

Bravo, sir.

For the Trench Trooper, I really like adding the cloak here instead of the pauldron. I also appreciate that you didn't get too fancy with the deco on the clone - it looks like it's a straight weathering job on a red commander, and I like that (my beaten up red commander is honestly one of my favorite figures, and he took almost no time) :P

The thing I probably would change would be to lose the visor. I know it's a kick-butt accessory and all, but I don't think every Clone who could carry one would. If you want to keep it, perhaps recolor it to make it stand out a little? Right now it looks too clean - like it's minty fresh while the rest of the Clone has seen some action. That may be intentional (everything is new at some point), but I think that if you're going to keep it, it would compliment the overall figure even more to address it with some weathering or color.

The group shot of R.E. players is nice to see. I'd personally like to see you add "credits" to your chapters where we get solo shots - outside the novel context - of each of the characters as they appear in the novel. A clean, unshadowed group shot would work too - a sort of curtain call that acknowledges the inclusion of customs in the PN. Just a thought I've had for my own PN that this pic reminded me of. :)

Nice work as always.

Thants acstually a pretty cool outfit chewie. Very!
I know you just replaced the forarms and lower legs and added the skirt, but it works very well together.
The cloak on that clone is nice as well. I'm really likeing the black skirts. Nice idea.
