Nice Gonk Droid  ;D
I've been meaning to do a custom job on one of these guys but have never gotten around to it.  I like the wash you gave him, it really makes him look a lot better than the "factory" version.  Nice gadgets and doodas on top  ;)
...you could say he's a little "hot-headed!" huh? huh? comeon....... :P

I need to make a gonk droid. I've got like six of this puppies laying around. I like the stuff on top of him. How to you make his legs stay together? Mine won't stand straight like that.

Thanks guys, on the "face" area where the lights and buttons are, I might darken that a bit.

Phruby, I think I glued the feet together a while back actually.

Well, I've got so many dark Gonks that I didn't mind, I prefer them standing in one spot I think rather than in that walking pose.

Walking is for over achievers.

Just a few quick reactions:

Like the new Rykrof.  Another cool design with cool gear.

Don't really like new Fuuda.  It looks just like a Bib head on a clone body, which it is.  Usually your customs have more variety in their parts and aren't as "recognizable" as this one is.  And, alas, I just don't like the "open mouth" sculpt.  Not your fault, obviously, but this flaw kept me from buyin the new figure, though I was on the fence.

LOVE the Gonk!

Lethiss is cool, but not, in my opinion, your best Mandalorian custom.

Anyway, keep up the great work!!!

Great looking Gonk Droid Chewie!

He fits in perfectly into the Star Wars Universe, The Gadgets on top are a nice touch as well, very unique. Hopefully he's not at somewere Crowded when the Bomb on top of him goes off.

Suicide Gonk Droids, Oh my!

I suppose maybe I shouldn't have used a thermal detonator on the Gonk, everyone seems to think he's a walking bomb.  I might adjust that a bit.   :)

Talon_Karrde - Thanks, as for the number of customs, I pretty much work on them after work a few nights a week.  No kids yet so I still have quite a bit of free time after I get home.

TR1ER - That's very nice of you, but there are so many areas I need to improve on, and I get inspiration from all you guys all the time.

blaster_e11 - Thanks as always, I know you usually read the Rykrof stories, I should have some previews of the next one sometime next week.

Quazar - Glad you like the Rykrof and the Gonk, on Mubaas, I'm sorry you don't like him.  Sometimes I like going with a simple design, and I figure he recycled the armor from a dead trooper.  On Lethiss, I know he's not too colorful, what would you suggest?

Fritzkrieg - Thanks, maybe I should just make him be a bomb.   :)

And now here's a new custom update, I worked on this figure all night last night and a couple hours tonight.  One of the most frustrating customs I've ever done actually and I know it's not that great.

I think he turned out great CHEWIE!  The hair might be a bit too "bulky" but everything else looks fantastic.       Are they shoelaces?  Whatever they are, the braids look perfect.

I can't place the parts... the legs and pelvis look like Agen Kolar, but I can't figure out any of the other pieces.  I think this is another example of the famous "CHEWIE's awesome parts usage."  ;)
