Cool, it's always good to see original color schemes  :D
Personally, I'm more of a fan of acrylic paints than paint-pens but yours turned out nicely.  Keep it up, make a squad!

I don't know if they were "loaned" though...  I don't recall the game saying that, but rather that they were just the base's collection of pursuit/patrol craft incase of a breakout attempt.

These are cool - I do prefer using acrylics too, but then again, I've never used a paint pen on a figure.

I really like the silver visor on the blue clone.

Im still trying to figure out if i like the pen or not ... I like how easy it is to work with and i like how the ink almost looks like its shaded on its own. The smoke on the body and all the ink on it now along with the paint on the visor is stuck on like a rock and that clear coat has dried all the way now So Im kinda starting to like the pen. Maybe a few more coats on it next time but all in all im still not sure what i like better now the paint or the pen .

yeh I got this book called Star Wars the new essential guide to vehicles & vessels. And its pretty cool full page pictures on the left and on the right full page article about almost every ship in the series and the books. And in it says as Fett was trying to get out of the prison colony he ran into a room full of Slave I ships that were on loan to the colony/prison . But it does not say on loan from who . So thats why Im gonna pretend theres one imperial Slave. Well hope when I get it done its liked.

Another think i played with today was torching the toy with just the smoke from the flame. If you look at my other post on here (my 2nd repaint and Farids 1st) it shows what I mean . It looks really good in real life. and thanks again for the cool comments everyone .

Well I got the Slave I that I won for 5 bucks and all in all its in great shape. Here are some parts that are needed for it and what it looks like to start. (like you guys have never seen this before) . The places im pointing at are the parts that are  missing. I was also thinking after getting it I should just take it all apart and Paint the insides also. I was also thinking of repainting the cockpit but not sure how to go about it .Any thoughts are welcome.
Also if you have the parts feel free to email me. Thanks . The ships base I was thinking should be gunmetal grey the area around the **** pit black but im not sure about the flaps guns and the brownish spot where the flaps are attached. But I would love to hear what you guys think. O yeh where can i find the decals for this one also for after the repaint ?

I think it would be cool if you painted the insides, however if you are unable to get the parts that you need, then I would consider using plastic sheets to seal up the ship.  I'm pretty sure that you can pop the windshield off if you wanted to get into the cockpit to paint that up (not positive about this, but I think I remember my vintage one had a windshield that could pop off).

Yeh I think i can coax it outa there . I used some car wax on the window and it looks almost like new. ( i would not do this unless your sure of the wax it may eat the plastic) But the stuff i got is working well so now i need to get it off there and start takin this thing apart .

Actually the Slave I in your pictures is the SOTE Slave I.

The cockpit windshield does come off.  Also, if you are serious about getting inside, there are screws on the bottom and along the left hand side that should allow you to open it up.

Can't wait to see it!

Yeh i been lookin over the slave I doing leds in it should be easy if im takin it apart .  Im not sure about being able to do the burners with lights yet but im gonna try . but for sure in the cargo hold and the cockpit . Its gonna be a week or 2 cause I got the lights from a guy on ebay and the battery and switch .  The switch should be on the bottom of the slave but to keep it looking a lil more realistic it might go in the roof of the cargo hold between the 2 lights. Is crystal blue cool or should i use a purple or red in the cockpit and crystal blue in the cargo hold ? It might be even longer I have a baby that should be born any time now so I might be gone a lil bit lol .

Congrats CuDa!   ;D

I've never tried doing working lights in a vehicle but that sounds really cool!  I think the Crystal Blue in the cockpit and red in the cargo hold would look cool.  Damn, I can't wait to see pics of this thing!
