Dimetrodon,

I've since picked up the perfect orange color (lighter than the one I used) so I'll probably use that to balance TWIN ENGINES with the card reference. Meet somewhere in the middle.   ;D

I love that!  I was thinking about trying to make this guy as well, but I wasn't sure how to do a helmet (I wanted to make a removable helmet, but I wasn't sure what to use as a base.  Any ideas?

Anyway, I love your customs, especially the various clones!  I look forward to seeing some more as well as the finished Saesee! ;D

Excellent looking customs DD I'm very impressed with them , I'm going to have to have a go at doing the small figures and see how they turn out.

Gregorbian: Thanks for the compliments. You can see though, in a lot of cases, I wasn't as brave as you...most of my clones are battle damaged. I can hide a lot of flaws that way.  ;D

Actually, Alpha may be the only "clean" clone I've done yet.

As for Saesee, I think I'm going to sculpt the helmet, using the Clone Wars Saesee's radio headset as the "skeleton," so to speak. It'll be interesting to see how it comes out.

Hemble: If your 12' figures are any indication of what we'll see from you in the 3'3/4' size, I can't wait. Don't set the bar too high for the rest of us, though.   ;)

Heh, I can't find any extra VOTC fetts anywhere and I need one for a Jaster Mereel I'm making. It's so frustrating, heh.

I really like the Saesee Tiin... I have no idea where to start on a helmet for him though.  Anyone have a good reference pic from what he looks like in the Clone Wars cartoon in this outfit?

I've been planning to update my Jaster Mereel with a VOTC body myself.  ;)

Did you add VOTC Fett to your want list in the "parts" thread? I'm sure someone here has a spare...

Hey guys,

Sorry I haven't added many new figures this week...I've been busy finishing two scripts, and the only customs I've done this week have been more clones for a friend of mine.

Not to mention I've been making new casts the last two days, and the prep work on those is REALLY time consuming. But I have been taking pictures along the way, so maybe I'll do a casting tutorial at some point.  :)

I have a couple of questions about your Clone Wars Armored Saesee Tinn...
Are there any good reference pics of him? (especially the mask)
Are you going to do a removable mask for him, if so, how?
...obviously I'm planning on making one.... ;)

Nice DD, I have seen his coloring look like yours and I have also seen the blue/yellow versions. I have no clue which is correct, but I do know yours looks great so far, maybe a tad of weathering like CHEWIE said, but other than that I think he is fine, I haven't seen enough refrence to show otherwise.

Looking forward to what you can do with a Saesee custom, Gregorbian.  ;D

I looked everywhere on the net for a decent reference pic for you, but came up with nothing. So, I decided to just take a picture of the TV screen. Sorry for the quality, but hopefully this will get you by:

Can't wait to see your finished product!

Thank you!  ;D I was looking for about an hour earlier today and found nothing.
I'll post pics when I'm all done.
Are you going to make a removable mask for yours?  How would you go about doing that?

Good pick DD... that almost looks like a cool ancient Mandalorian design.
