I agree with everything that CHEWIE said.  The scale pattern is dead-on, excellent job on that!
Is the armor removable?

Chewie: The torso is Boshek's, and everything else is a SAGA Bossk, figure wise. The gun and armor are from a Final Fantasy figure. They'll both probably see some more detailing before I'm done, along with his skin. And since I have another FF Gray Edwards lying around, they'll be another soldier soon as well...

Gregorbian: The armor is completely removable... just snaps apart at the seams quite easily.

I think it's funny if I repaint a clone, everyone at RS wets themselves and I get miles of feedback, but with this guy or my bith, both of which were tons of work, I get next to nothin.'  :P

That's why I stay here.  ;)

That's why I don't even bother posting in RS anymore. I forgot who invited me to JD, but I HAVE to thank whoever did.

Well then, let's forget the pics of clones, trandoshans, and biths, and get some pictures of that!

That is a sweet trandoshan too.  Probably my 5th favorite brand of alien.  Nice custom.

Love the Trandoshan! Thats my favorite alien race. The coloring on the skin is awesome. Nice to see someone do something with that Saga Bossk.
I remember my dream now.

I do... I just finished dull coating the figure, so as soon as he's dry I'll get some new pics up with and without armor.

All right...I'm severly pressed for time this weekend, so updates and responding to PM's will have to wait...but in the meantime, here's some unarmored pics of that Trandoshan to tide you guys over...

By the way, go see SERENITY. It's really good...

Until later!

Very nice DD! It loos great sans the armor as well. Is that a Halo 2 Brute shot?

I totally agree about Serenity, I saw it Friday and it is right up there with my all-time favorites. It is an amazing movie,. :)

I love this guy sans armor!  This is one of the best customs that you have made so far, in my opinion.  The wash on the suit turned out really well and I'm still blown away by the effective skin pattern that you gave him.  Great work!

Wow, awesome new pics of him DD!  He looks even better I think with all of the armor off... but that's just me.  It seems to look a little more realistic that way.  With his armor on though, it's still superb.  Wonderfully done.

While we all expect great work from you, DD, I think this  is one of your best (this coming from someone who is a bonafide clonut, and your clones are fantastic).  His paint job is very well executed, and he looks like a real mean dude - but to make armor for him that's actually REMOVEABLE!  That's very difficult to pull off and still make it authentic-looking.  He looks great with or without, which in my opinion makes this a perfect mesh of artistic vision and ingenuity.
