Famines Customs! Sith Lord!
« on: January 13, 2004, 10:03 PM »
http://www.jptoys.com/customs/kevin/index.html

A few customs of mine from my personal Jurassic Park Collection. I hope to soon have some of my Star Wars customs up for show.

If this doesnt go here, or a mod wants to delete it, feel free. I just thought I would share these.

Nah, it's cool Famine.  I think it's nice to see a little bit of branching out to other genres...  I've done a few WW2 figures that someday I'll possibly display perhaps and would want to display them with my SW.

Good stuff for sure...  And hope to see more.

I got the same thing Brad. When I click on the thumbnails, I get:

Uh Oh!

I know why:

My host went down while my computer was broke, so all my pics were lost. Ill try and find the floppy this week that I had them in, and get them up to replace the broken images.

Nice pics there Famine.  It's ok that it's not Star Wars.  I have a few JP figures too. ;)

Carth Onasi from KOTOR

Does this look like Carth Onasi from Knights Of The Old Republic?

My friends keep commenting how it does, and I was curious if anyone could use this new fig for an attempt?

Hmmmm the pic isn't showing up on my end.  Can you show a link?

I've been playing the game lately, and would like to see what you've got!

I think.

After we changed over at JPtoys.com I think some links got whiped and renamed.

Maybe a picture of this Carth Onasi person could help me out in varifying the toy for ya, CHEWIE.

Famines Custom Thread Updated 12/26! New Jedi!
« Reply #13 on: February 17, 2005, 11:32 AM »
Ok, I'm begining work on a Dio-Story, and I need help with a wash. I'm using a Saga Endor Trooper, without any modifications, because, well I like it, and I want to give his shirt a really worn and scummy look. He's seen better days. What is the best way to make a wash so I can help with that effect?

Also, some one loses a limb, so how do I make a removable limb for a certain charachter? That would be good to know, if anyone can help out.

Thanks, and I'll have pictures of my Droid customs soon, and possibly some of my main charachters.

These customizing threads sure have been dead lately here; nice to see a new topic.

Hmmm... you mean his grayish undershirt?  I would suggest a bit of black paint, with brown and maybe a touch of silver.  Mix them together, and with a bit of water dab it onto the shirt.  There may be more effective methods, but that's the way I'd try it.

A removable limb... do you have a dremel?

If so, cut an arm off, maybe at the elbow area.  Drill a semi-deep hole into the cut area from the forearm as well as the bicep so you can insert something in-between them to hold them together, but can still be pulled apart.  Maybe a cup from the Cantina sets would work to hold them together.  I would experiment with a junk figure first.

Looking foward to seeing some pics!
