It recently came to my attention that a couple of cinematic masterpieces have finally been released on DVD:

Why was I not informed of this sooner?  >:(

So, did everyone just stop buying DVD's..?

Anycrap, very light week for me, namely because of rent, and next week is just brutal, release wise.

This week..

It has been a nice quiet month or so for DVD's in my house.  It looks to continue for a few weeks as well.

Delicatessen is all I'm buying this week.

Last week was the Wedding Singer and Patriot re-cuts, and 3 Extremes II.

In retrospect, "3 Extremes 2" wasn't very extreme at all. Tartan Extreme had a decent release (for a change) this week in "The Heirloom".

I take it back... the good editions of Predator 1 and 2 are $7.49 each this week... so is Tron and Ice Age - I might buy a few of those.

Last week was the Wedding Singer...

Rob, was that worth the repurchase? I've been sort of putting it off and wondering.

I haven't watched it yet - but my general rule is that I'll only do the repurchases if it has delete scenes or an alternate cut - of all the special features in the world, those are the only ones I really care about.

At least it wasn't expensive - and I got 3 or 4 bucks in trade for the old one...

It looks like the difference is about 3 minutes of footage though for the new version... other than that I can't really tell you if it was worth it or not.

I'm one and done this week... despite the ridiculous end sequence, I'll only be picking up:

I'm a brunette man (both in that I have brown hair and I favor girls with brown hair), but I would totally put it to Blair, six ways from Sunday.  Both back then and now.  Holy Christ.

And Tootie--but only today.  She's, uh, filled out quite a bit since then. . .

Those "Scrubs" sets are ridiclously overpriced, and I found S1 for $15 at Pawn America, and as bad as I want them, I'll just hold off.
