One of the projects I've started to work on is a super actuated slave girl Leia using the MicroLady body. So far I've added the head and collar. As you can see she is extremely...ahh...flexible. ;)

I need suggestions on a paint color to match the potf2 slave girl leia head. What color or mixture of colors would you use to paint the body?

Good start Phruby!  I'm happy to see some more Microman/lady customs!

Personally, I would paint her head to match the body, that way you won't have to worry about paint chipping.
Also, you might want to trim her neck down a bit because it looks a bit long right now.

she's a bit of a gymnast there Phruby  :o

a good flesh mixture that i have found is with my Citadel paints. i like to start with Bronzed Flesh, then add some red, white and then some light brown to it if it needs to be darker (more tan). of course the red makes the flesh more fair=more pink, whereas yellow and brown=more tan.

can't wait to see her in her bikini  ;)

p.s. are you gonna make her chain a real metal chain like the "new" saga Chewie Boussh's prisoner? that would be a nice touch.

Sexy, sexy!  I don't know how I would accomplish such a custom Phruby... I'd be scared of all the joints!  I can't wait to see what you come up with here.  I would suggest maybe a bit of sculpy over those screws.

I'm not sure I would want to use a figure with so many joints exposed.  This may be a tough one to make look "natural".   I'll reserve final judgement until you are finished!!  Looking forward to seeing the final product.

I think it will look natural as long as I can get close to the skin color of the head. I reduced the neck post and the head still moves. The chain is there to hide the joint between the body and head. Here are some pictures of Catwoman and Batgirl done with this body. I'll probably have to do the boots simular to Batgirl.

I think it will look pretty damn cool if you paint everything, clothing included on the figure, then and add a belt and cloth skirt.  It would definitely fit into that style of figures quite nicely.

I used a Batgirl for mine and aside from my overkill with the flesh-wash, I think it turned out alright.  You can swap out the feet on all Microman figures, so if you pick up a Batgirl, you won't have to do any major modifications.

Here you can see I've shorten the neck a little. The chain helps hide the joint. Her head is still moveable.

Here I've added the loin cloth as an experiment. I plan on using real softgoods instead of the plastic you see here. I will use the upper metal piece from these plastic pieces.

Yah, that's the thing I'm going to have to try and avoid. She's very yellow.  I really don't want to paint the face. I want to get as close as possible to that color. Did you take the entire figure part and paint everything separately? How do you keep the paint from rubbing off on the joints?

I would just go with Games Workshop's "bronzed flesh" color and NO FLESH-WASH  :P

I sprayed the figure with a base coat of black (I always prime my figures in black or white) and then just painted a base coat of bronzed flesh.

For Microman figures, you don't really have to worry about paint rubbing off overall.  The only parts on my microman figures that I've had trouble with are where the upper thighs rub against the hip socket, aside from that the paint does not really rub off, especially if the figure is primed.

I think this is a great custom idea Phruby. I am usually not a fan of mixing different brand toy parts.
But I really like this idea. Since hasbro now will be doing marvel stuuf, maybe the SHS style of articulation
may spread over to star wars.

I think it's going to be a cool custom... but honestly I don't know if I want Marvel articulation on such small figures, would it not lead to more broken parts like the Palisades AoD figures?  Still though, I guess anything is possible.
