OK, that Defense of the Senate Battle Pack kicks ass!

You guys guessed it - they are the figures from the Gunship box photography.

It's too bad the blue ARCs look like the CW version, but I'm pretty excited about this, and the gunship.

According to the SW.com link above:

"Retail Exclusives
Lastly, for the true bounty hunters, several store exclusive figures are available this May as well. The Clone Wars microseries-inspired Republic Gunship and the Hunt for General Grievous Battle Pack will be available exclusively at Toys R Us stores. Exclusively at Target stores, look for the Demise of General Grievous super-premium 3.75" figure and the Skirmish in the Senate battle pack."

I assume the Hunt for General Grievous Battle Pack will be the 5 clones, whereas the Skirmish in the Senate is the Yoda, Emperor, and Shockies.

Those are some sweet looking clones.

Hmmm.... those blue ARC Troopers just don't do anything for me... the rest looks nice, although really cartoonish.

mmm I don't think so.  I think those clones are the Hunt for General Grievous Battle Pack.

I think we still don't know what the Defense of the Senate is.

There's some definite confusion with these Battle pack names.

The Skirmish of the Senate is the 2 Shocktroopers, Yoda, Palpatine and the pod, as discussed here (ruiner just used the wrong Battle Pack name, that's all).

The Defense of the Senate?  Not sure.  Perhaps TRU misnamed that Pack on Amazon, as mentioned here.

It'll be tough deciding to get the ARC Battlepack or the Senate Battleback. ARCs or Senate Pods, ARCs or Senate Pods... hmmm.

I'll go with senate pods.  Two nice SA Shocktroopers and a Senate pod... I've been wanting senate pods for years.

I figured the Clone Trooper set was the "Defense of the Senate" pack.  I think they renamed it as the "Hunt for General Greivous."

Kinda funny they named the ARC pack "Hunt For General Grievous", when the ARCs didn't even know Grievous was at Hypori. The more accurate name should've been, "The Rescue Of Ki-Adi-Mundi".

That Red ARC kitbash is great, too bad they couldn't do that with the blue ARCs, along with giving the Red one a rangefinder.

I'll be picking up the Hunt for Grievous and Senate battle packs for sure, along with a Gunship. Still debating if I should get the Grievous, but I probably won't due to these horrible prices. Undecided

Considering they are from the cartoon they outta be. I wish they wouldn't be a TRU exclusive but oh well.

It will be easier than you think. I plan on getting multiples of the battle pack and have no need of the senate pods, so they will be available.

I know what you mean, but these are not "Animated Style" figures.  I would think that they could make them look a little less vibrant in color, maybe add a bit of weathering.  That's just the movie style fan in me I guess.
