-SOLD- Huge lot of customizing fodder
« on: February 15, 2006, 12:20 PM »
Now sold!!

Here is my huge customizing stache that's been built up over the past 2 years... I've decided that I just don't really care about customizing anymore so now it's time to sell it and get it out from under my bed.   :P

Be warned, these are rather large pics....

Here is an aerial view:

------------------------------------------------------
In the close-up pictures a figure may appear 2 or 3 times... that wasn't intentional, but these pics are mainly just to show you a better look at everything.

I'm asking $100 shipped (which when you consider there is enough stuff to make at least 45 figures isn't too bad), but I'm open to offers.

This lot would be great for anyone who does photonovels or is just looking to expand their customizing fodder. I can take either Paypal (prefered) or Money Order. :)

[please note that some items have been modified from their original look, such as with paint, epoxy putty, ect]

I'm sorry to hear you've decided to get out of customizing Adam  :-\
Make sure you keep some astromech fodder lying around for when you decide to come back  ;)

I for some reason just don't like customizing anymore, even the painting which was my favorite part. I'm also starting to get out of collecting... so I kind of doubt I'll come back to it. At least in the same form. (I'm getting interested in Stikfas.... so I may make a return one day :P)

And I was able to find even more customizing stuff, so I'm updating the list with a picture of the newest stuff. Price will still stay the same.... this is a great deal so buy it people!  ;D

That's too bad Adam, but I did the same thing a while ago.  I recommend hanging on to some of your harder to find/expensive supplies.  When I stopped customizing (warhammer 40k figures) around '98, I packed up/threw out most of my customizing supplies.  When I started up again in '04, I had to buy everything again.  It was pretty costly.
Anyway, Stikfas are a good way to "casually" customize, so maybe you can keep the customizing flame stoked that way!

I would be interested in this... the problem is, I have literally 5 tubs overflowing with parts right now.  That's a fair price to ask.

Maybe you'll get back into customizing again.  But if not, someone like Brent would be a great person to move these to, as I know he's really interested in this part of the hobby and already really talented.

And in the mean time, hold onto a few things.  You never know when the bug will bite again.

SOLD! Huge lot of customizing fodder
« Reply #7 on: February 16, 2006, 05:40 PM »
The whole lot is now pending for Brent!

Thanks for the kind words. :)
I'm definitly going to keep my painting/sculpting supplies because there'll always be a use for them. If I ever do get back in to customizing it would probably be just painting anyway since my put-together figures never turned out quite as well as I hoped...

edit: now sold. thanks!
