Thanks Pen. The helmet is hollowed out but does not fit over his head. He's head is much too tall to fit completely inside the helmet.

As for yestertoys.com, I've never had a problem with their shipping.

Ok, my Rykrof is ready.

Wow, that was really quick Phruby!  I like it a lot.  Even though I'm not a fan of that sculpt too much, you made it work and the paint scheme looks excellent.  Almost maybe an early version of X-Wing gear.  He could fit it in very well I think in a Rebel Hangar diorama too.  Good work Phruby!

Thanks Chewie. I wanted to get this one and the MCC fan fic alien out of the way so I can work on my microman/microlady customs. My fan fic alien is all put together. I just need to paint him.

Do you think the crew at Yestertoys is wondering why the hell the Saga Endor Trooper w/Beard is now suddenly the hottest figure they have?   :D

Ok, i just finished a marathon weekend getting JLU stuff done for custom con.
5 figures in 2 and a half days.

I'm gonna take a few days off and then take a shot at Rykrof.
Hopefully i'll have something to show by the weekend.
March is an extreemly busy month for me (family wise)
So i hope it get some time to work on it here and there.

Phruby, simple and very effective version of Rykrof.  Now that you are getting into casting, try making a removable helmet for him.
Starkid, this may be one of the first customs i've seen you post. Sorry if i've missed your others. Very nice addition to the group project

Jeff, next month or so we are going to all be reading the back of our toy mags, and see the price of these Bearded Endor troopers has jumped!

I am trying to figure out a few different ideas for a new Rykrof... I think I have an idea that will be pretty popular, if I can find the parts I need for it.

I'd be careful when ordering from Yestertoys.com
They have tons of negative feedbacks on eBay and I had heard that they actually closed down last year.  They haven't updated their web site in a long time.

I ordered a ton of stuff from them in the summer of '04 and about half of the time they shipped my correct order, but the other half of the time I would have to call them and talk to Tom about the mess up (since they hardly answered their e-mails).  I sent them an e-mail a few days ago just to see if they were still around and to ask on the quantities of a few figures, but have so far not yet received a response.

Anyway, I hope they are still around because, even considering their crappy customer service, their prices are too good to pass up.
The scariest thing that I've ever seen,
Is the terrible AT-AT walking machine.
It's as big as a house on walking legs,
and whatever it steps on it crushes like eggs.

Now these I want to see. Your JLU customs are some of the best I've seen.

As far as Rykroff is concerned, Im probably going to sacrifice the Endor trooper that I already have. I just have to settle on what I want to do with the rest of it. I want him unique and different, other than copying what Chewie has already done. Which is kind of hard seeing as how hes worn every possible outfit imaginable. ;D

Now that I think about it though, I may be able to kill 2 birds with one stone. Let me get back to you on this. I think I have a plan.

gotta get working on this.. :P

What do you guys think of SAGA obi wan pilot head as Enloe?

I think a little bit of hair color change it could pass for him. Anyways, I want him to look a little different anyways, because My Rykrof will be Post ROTS/ early rebellion years. I'm gunna make him a Rebel Commander so the commlink piece will work great as a comms head set.

Personally I don't think it''ll work. It is too hard to use that head and make it look like something other than Obi-Wan, the same is true for most of the main hero/villain characters. He'll just end up looking like Obi Wan with some dyed hair.
