POTF2 Fett MOC w/o cape???
« on: March 16, 2006, 11:25 AM »
I went to an Antique Mall in PA yesterday and to my suprise there were alot of POTF2 figs scattered around. POTF2 really isn't my thing any more but I did search for the occasional error, variant or foreign piece for my Chewie collection. What I did find on my hunt was a POTF2, orange carded Boba Fett without the cape. Has anyone seen this before or know what it might be worth? They were asking $50 which was waaaaay outta my price range and I wasn't about to take a chance on it for that much $... Any info?

Its an error so there is no way to tell how much it is worth.  I could see a certain person I know paying $50 for it though.  I've seen people pay hundreds for errors that I would not pay more than $10 for.  I would probably pay $30 for that one personally.  It would be cool to have.  Some people would say they wouldnt pay $5 for an error but i like them and enjoy collecting them though I wont pay crazy prices for them.

Yeah definitely not a variant, just an error...  Throwing things on Ebay like that can get anywhere from a lot to nada...  Error guys are weird like that.  One thing doesn't get any play and another does.  It could be that, because it's Fett, it garners a little more...  Or it could simply be ignored.  Because there's only one (or only likely one anyway I guess) there's no really good comparison to make.
