Last year the couldn't get rid of the Leia's. It'll be interesting to see how different the Stormie is going to be.

I'd pass on this, but it'll go along great with my Target Shadow Clone. Plus, it's VOTC.

Same here I don't plan to going to SDCC so it's either the SWS or *gulp* scalpers on Ebay.*dun, dun, dun!*

If you do go the ebay route, try to wait at least 6 months.

History has shown that show exclusives "cool off" after the initial buzz has worn off.

You can find tons of examples on ebay:

Jorg Sacul  can now be had for less than $30
Toy Fair Vader < $100
Jedi Luke Theater Ed. < $25
Holo Leia < $20.

Patience (as with most areas in life) is the key.

The same will hold true for the UGH silver foil figures.  They'll start out at $50 a pop, but a year from now, they should be hovering around $15 to $20 (I hope)!

I got your back there Ruiner. Stuff rarely holds it's initial inflated value.

I was never able to get the VOTC stormtrooper, so I'll be buying a couple of these.

Same, except I'll only get one.

I really love this figure, I must say.  With more images of it around, I think it looks fantastic.  I dread the price, but my goodness it's a nice looking figure.  I didn't even like the comic it's from actually, but black stormtroopers are a must-have.

Didn't they also appear in one of the old Marvel Comics or am I just tricking myself with a "False memory" ....

I like it...the Blue Body suit would have been neat to have, but all black works for me.  I'll commit to 6.  It is the least I can do for such a great sculpt.

I think you're thinking of the Blackhole Stormtrooper (previously released as a GG Bust Up kit).

More power to you if you can nab six of these guys, I'll be happy with one (maybe two).

Ok I am admittedly EU "Clueless"...what is the difference?

And my HOPE is for 6...I don't think I'll be hitting that target, but if they go up on SWS.com I'll snag them there.

I'm not sure on differences Paul...  I know that Carnor Jax's Stormtroopers are who are pictured on the reference images though and not the Marvel Black Hole Stormtroopers.

Personally, one in the same as far as my EU catalogue goes. :)

I'm hoping for 4...  4-man team is my standard for these overpriced figures these days.
