She is comming together nicely phruby, can i suggest one thing?
Fuller hair on top. Add some more sculpy there so its full and not flat.
Other than that, she's looking good.

Thanks guys. I'll work more on the hair today. Hopefully I can get the sholder pad on too.

Finds- Your's turned out amazing. It is easily one of the best versions I've ever seen of her. You nailed the color. The softgoods look fantastic.

Phruby- I'm completely floored by your's. I always like your MicroLady customs, the use of balloons is pure genius. They hide the articulation very well. Do you know how well they hold the paint? I can't wait to see the finished result!

I don't know how well the balloons hold paint. I'm sure it differs by brand and label. Best way to know is to try it. I was actually planning on using custom decals for the patches instead of paint.

Thread looked a little slow, so I figured I'd put up my WIP Ysanne (w/ interchangeable hands):

"I AM Imperial Intelligence."

Thoughts, conjecture and derisive laughter welcome, constructive criticism appreciated. But please do keep in mind that 1) these pix were 'taken' with a scanner, and 2) I'm going for a kind of composite of the differing ref pix.  ;D

Pendragon, most EXCELLENT job on Mme Isard!  But you already know I think that.  :)  I hadn't even noticed the interchangeable gloves the first time -- WAY cool touch.

The arms and torso are an Annika, right?  (With some added sculpting to make her outfit more... appropriate to her position, shall I say.)  As is at least part of the head, if I remember correctly...

Very impressive custom all 'round.  I know I've got a long way to go before I match that!

Wow! She looks great. She definately has no fear of drowning though. ;) I dont know what you're planning to do with her, but she looks perfect the way she is. I also want to know what the recipe for this is.

Hey thanks for the comments M_P, Glass, Finds, BrentS, & D_E - I really enjoy all of your works, so it means a lot coming from you guys!

Oh, right, I forgot a recipe... a bit tired last night...

So, w/o further ado, I give you Mme Iceheart's part list:

Face
: Depa Billaba
Hair : Sub5 agent, Ankia
Torso : Sub5 agent, Ankia, dressed up with a bit o' sculpty-induced modesty (but yes, still no fear of drowning ;) )
Arms : Sub5 agent, Ankia
Hands: not sure
Gloves: Sub5 agent, Ankia
Skirt : Admiral Ozzel (belt painted w/ gloss black)
Legs : Admiral Ozzel (boots painted w/ gloss black)
Pistol : Aurra Sing
Riding crop : ROTS Mon Mothma  ;)

Master_Phruby & Darth_Ennis: Here's what I will be changing:

1) the hair - the white flays out too much, it seems like it should come towards the center more. Also the hair needs to fall over the breasts a bit more naturally (imo)

2) the neck - not sure if the pics show it well, but there's a nasty neck gap between flesh and top of collar

3) imperial rank badge - maybe - what are your thoughts on it, EU-wise?

4) the belt -  it needs its silver parts touched up a bit

Again, thanks for your comments! I'm usually quite shy about showing unfinished stuff to people, but you've all (esp. Finds!) given me quite the ego boost  ;D

As always, ideas for improvements are quite welcomed!

That Ankia is a great figure to use for parts. I never even noticed she was missing her rank badge.

Remember everybody we have less than a week to go. Glassman should just about now be starting.  ;)

I've finished my version of Ysanne Isard last night. Here is the picture of her. As you can see, I've used the microlady body with balloon clothes and a modified POTC2 Elizabeth Swam head. The pouch is from one of those army guys and the ribbons are from Aayla's belt. There is a little bit of sculpty for the sholder plate and a little paint on the latex.

For the most part, I think she looks like Laura Croft with different hair.
