I just got an email from best buy this morning and it says the unleashed are backordered agian.  It looks like I have to drive down there to actually get one. Suck!!

Well I went to Best Buy first thing this morning and picked up the Unleahsed Vader. Its AWSOME, I really like it. But I am a "leave it in the package" kind of guy.  He is definitely different than the other Vader paint wise.  I don't think it is just his cape.  His cape is more metalic and there are hints of red on his body.  Its like the sprayed him with mystic paint, the kind that gives off different colors at different angles.  This is definitely worth getting.

I'll have to call as well and see if mine shipped. The listing on their site changed from sold out to available on bestbuy.com, and it's also available for store pickup now. I ordered an extra one in case the online order gets hosed up.

A friend of mine just picked up one of these for me on his lunch break. The guy at best buy told him they ordered 50, got 25 and there where 10 there when he picked mine up, 8 left when he went to check out. They're moving quick but at least it's a hell of a lot easier to get than the lava vader.

I bit. Went ahead and found a BB that had em in stock and put one on hold but of course when I went there to pick it up tonight. "We can't find them. If you could come back tomorrow."  ::)

Rumor has it that we may see the next wave of Unleashed (Han Stormie, Shockie and Chewie) as early as March. While Im not holding my breath I'll be keeping my eyes peeled.

According to the revised Pre-Order at EE:  "Estimated Arrival: July 2006"

That info matches the last I heard on a revised date from Hasbro...

I picked up one Darth Vader Unleashed at Best Buy today.  I'm very pleased with the piece.  I was suprised how big the container was, it reminds of a popcorn tin.
