Nice pull Jeff!  But since you didn't get a Han or Chewie, I guess you're just gonna have to keep on goin'...   ;)

Well... I am impressed with them so far.

The ones I've got have some top notch paint jobs, unlike some of the other reports I've read.  I might just have to buy a few more boxes and see if my luck holds out.  Maybe, if I pull a few more VRs, I can trade them for the Han/Chewie that I want :)

I've only got the 4 Promo figures so far, and the paint jobs vary:  The Tusken and Mon Cal are VERY nicely painted.  Surprisingly excellent considering they're on such small pieces.  The Stormtroopers are fairly good, though some of the black lines aren't quite perfect.  My Wookiee Soldier seems a little dark though, to the point where you can't make out his dual bandoliers too well, but that's it.  The other pictures I've seen though all looked top notch as far as the paint quality.  That's a big reason I decided to delve into this line...

My staff on the Ithorian scout is also severely bent.  Probably gonna be a common problem.  I know it's like that even with the petwer line -most of the lightsabers ship bent or even broken.  Hard to keep somehting so thin in perfect shape.

I saw pics of the wookie soldier with some kind of stick/spear in his right hand, mine doensn't have it?  anyone else or am I just losing it?

Where'd you see the pix Bob?  Don't recall what mine looks like now, but I'll check it out again when I get home.  Of course, this is what WOTC suggests it should look like:

Just heard from Jared, and he caved and bought a couple Boosters just now.  Said his Royal Guard's staff is all jacked up too, so that's 0 for 3 on that one now...   :-\

Didn't have my sets waiting at home for me when I got home last night, so I decided to finally punch in the UPS tracking number, to see where things stood.  Unfortunately, they have it listed as arriving on freakin' Monday.  That's one week since they said it shipped.  That blows.  Oh well, guess that's the price I pay for getting the cheapest deal anywhere on these things...

Duh...  There's a pic of it right here on the prior page:   :P

Hmm...  Yeah, we'll need some more input on this one guys.  Does he have the spear, or not?  Now that I see it, I don't think mine does, actually.

No spear on mine. I'm just sorting through my boosters now (picked up two more sets for a total of 4).

Hey, you're two short there pal, including one rare.  Fix it!   :-*

So, these are the rares/very rares you wound up with:

14  R2-D2
34  Scout Trooper on Speeder Bike
56  Bossk
??

So, whaddaya think of 'em?  How do feel about your pulls?

Were both of the Royal Guard pikes messed up?

When are you getting your other case?

Damn auditors.  ::)

Left my extra R2 and RFT off the list. My Excel skills are rusty I guess.

I feel fine about my figures, if that's what you mean by "pulls." I don't speach your strange nerd tongue.  ;) Or I refuse to. Seriously, they are pretty neat little things, and most of the paint jobs are pretty good. The only ones that are sketchy of mine are the Ewok and the Rebel Commando. My second Royal Guard's pike is much more, er, erect than the other, but still bendy. Same story with the Ithorian's weapon.

My case of boosters and starter kit should be here tomorrow or Monday. We need to do some serious trading.

Well, I just picked up my first boxes of these. Got a starter set and just one booster, for now. Here's what I got:

Starter set
#21 Darth Vader - Dark Jedi - R
#10 Luke Skywalker - Rebel - R
#38 Stormtrooper - C
#35 Snowtrooper - C
#23 Elite Snowtrooper - U
#8 Hoth Trooper - C
#16 Rebel Officer - U
#6 Elite Rebel Trooper - C
#41 Bespin Guard - C
#51 Jawa - C

Booster pack
#38 Stormtrooper - C
#8 Hoth Trooper - C
#33 Scout Trooper - U
#20 Wookie Soldier - C (no spear on mine either)
#57 Tusken Raider - C
#16 Rebel Officer - U
and the biggie...
#34 Scout Trooper on speeder bike - VR

Not too bad I guess, except for already having 3 dups out of just buying 2 boxes. But I guess the VR fig makes up for that. Think I'll have to order me a case of the boosters now too.

Do it Jim!  Bummer 'bout the dupes there, but the best thing to try and do, is find someone who's actually PLAYING this game, 'cause they WANT to army build with the commons and uncommons, and will likely trade their extra rares and VRs for them.

But we'll make sure we all take care of eachother in here first though!   ;)  Order quick though, since Jared and I are getting our cases real soon, and are gonna want to start wheeling and dealing right away!

BTW, the case that I ordered came from Outfitters, which is shipping out of Minnesota...  Not sure if they've actually got a retail place set up out there somewhere, but it may be worth finding out, since their Booster cases were only $92.50 (second cheapest around, but cheapest anywhere with shipping factored in).  I'll see if I can dig up their link for you to check an address on...  Back in a flash!

Cool pic of the whole set...  (Larger one too)

And here's a pic of the upcoming Clone Strike booster pack, which will be the next subline, and is due out in the Nov/Dec timeframe...

First look at a Clone Strike figure (next line due out in December):

Cool looking, even if I don't plan on collecting Prequel figures...

Not really that close to me. Probably about 3+ hrs away.

I did go ahead and ordered a case from one of the other links you had listed in this thread. Price, with shipping, came to about $9 a pack. Not too bad considering I just spent about $13.85 on the 1 booster I bought. If they ship it out on Monday, I should have it by mid to end of next week.
