Ishi Tibb species from Clone Strike:

So it looks like Clone Strike's just gonna be all EU species from the OT...  Uh, anything from AOTC or CW perhaps?   ::)

Looks like I'm gonna be in on these a lot more than I was expecting.  ****.  Not sure if this is going to convince me to go all out and stay completist for everything, or what.  Guess I'll have to wait and see...   :-\

Ishi Tib is not EU, he was in Return of the Jedi.

Both in Jabba's Palace AND at the Rebel Fleet Summit.

Well yeah, I know that doof...   :P

But most of these Clone Strike Preview minis have been EU figures, like "mercenaries" and such, with different costumes than what they wore in the OT films, and all that.  Plus, WOTC said they're not mixing any OT figures into the PT sets, and this is an AOTC era based set.  Plus, this one's called "Ishi Tib Scout".  So I don't think that's the SAME character as the Ishi Tibb from Jabba's Palace, or the ones in the Rebel Fleet planning meeting.  Just one of their species.  That's all.   ;)

No, it has to be the one from Jedi. Just to prove you wrong....

.. ::)

Those packs I got from the online store had a lot of goodies in them, I now have all the core characters. Do any of you other players use scenarios? Ideas?

Wow, several new pics up today, over at Kidzworld.com:

Damn.  Now that's more like it!  I'm starting to think I'm gonna go all in on this next set as well.  Why, oh why...   :-\

Here's the others we've already seen too, just so we've got a nice little group shot here:

Wow, that's already 11 figures we've seen.  Not bad!  Not long 'til we know all the rest, I suppose...

If "Blue Harvester" is who I think he is, he too is playing it, or at least as much as Bob is.

He is.  He says he knows you Jess.   ;)

Yeah, Blue Harvester is who you think it is.  we dabble a bit.  I still don't think I know all the rules, we kinda make it up as we go. ;^)

Persoanlly I like the game, but I'd rather play the PC/PS2 games.  Love collecting the mins-even though they it's kinda pricey to get the entire set.

Star Wars and toy Collector since 1978(age 7).  currently over 6,500 SW items in my personal collection. Collect modern/vintage and everything in-between ;^)

More EU crap...   ::)  Behold, the Nikto Soldier:

So for those of you keeping score at home, that's 8 Prequel mini figures so far, and 5 EU ones.  I think we had about 5 EU ones in the Rebel Storm set, so hopefully that's the end of those for Clone Strike now.  Not that I mind some of them with the OT flavor, but I'd just prefer to get Ree Yees, Nikto, Weequay, etc in their TRUE ROTJ incarnations.  Know whatImean, Vern?

I'm so out on this set it's not even funny. Collecting the first wave just wasn't fun, and that was for an assortment of characters I actually cared about.

That said, I do like how they are handling the EU-ishness of the aliens. They don't offend me like most EU things do. They seem to fit in pretty well. I'll take 10 Ishi Tibb random characters to a Mara Jade any day. That big fake.

Stap's WAY too small, but oh well...

Here's their sneak peak on the next one too:

Any guesses?  Another EU "mercenary"?   :-\

Interestingly enough, I stumbled upon a random Rebel Strike Booster pack in the Star Wars section of the action figures at Target tonight.  Bottom of the package was not surprisingly ripped open too.

So that means that either Target stores are now selling them too, or they're taking returns of the ones they sold on their Target.com website.

Either way, weird.  But something to keep an eye out for in the future, I guess...

Wow.  Missed this news from WOTC last week...

Apparently Series 4 (after the Clone Strike and ROTS sets) is going to be all "HUGE" figures, or at least the VRs will be.  From the entire Saga of all 6 films too, apparently.  I guess we're talking Rancors, Landspeeders, and the like...  It sounds like all the rest of the regular minis included in the boosters will just be rehashes from the prior lines though.

Anyway, you can scope out the news right here!   8)

that post has a lsit of the clone strike set, and pictures of a lot of the figures. enjoy.
oh and that jango is way to powerful for a booster figure, IMO anyway.
