Hey! Lushros Dofine is awesome! Back off my Neimoidian homeboy!
Pffff! Second-biggest pegwarmer in the current line next to Hoth Vader! Awesome my hydrospanners!  ;D

Seriously, he's a great-looking figure and all, just not my cup o' tea.

Picked up a VTSC Raider, Han, Greedo and Luke X-wing from TRU this morning and another Skirmish at the Senate BP this afternoon thanks to a friend ;). Also finally picked up my package from China at the post office w/ my VTSC Scout Troopers.

With the TRU Sale I decided to stock up some.  It brought figures to roughly $4 and change after tax, not tooooo bad really...  COnsidering this year's crappy prices and weaker figure efforts I figured it was the only way I'd really cave on some custom fodder and army builders.

I got:

5 AT-AT Drivers, 2 GONK droids, Major Derlin, and a SNowtrooper.  The snowtrooper was for my gf's son.  I'm refusing to buy that POS kitbash.  Super articulate it or don't put it out there, that's my opinion on him.

I went to another TRU then last night, they'd had some COruscant Wave and Carkoon remnants...  They have 0 figures.  The one I got all the above stuff at has barely anything left now I hear tell as well.

When will these stores realize that $4 and change moves figures well...  $7 let's them rot.  The only way my TRU's make room is when either the figure is rare and moves like Scorch and Cody, or when there's a sale.  Otherwise finding stuff (if you aren't picky) at TRU has been a breeze.  They're the only store with a lot of dedicated peg space for Star Wars these days.

It makes me happy  :) and sad   :'( to say I got a Skirmish in the Senate Battle pack today. Why sad you ask? Because Hasbro duped me into buying the freaking ROTS Palpatine and Yoda, again.

TRU had the Courasant wave case laying open the floor just after open so I helped myself to Cody, Firespeeder pilot, and holo Mundi.

No, Hasbro won irregardless because Retail bought it...

I won because I got it at a price I found "acceptable".  :)  $4+ isn't shabby to me on most figures despite shortcomings.  BTW you're right Anton that it was closer to $5 but they were still under $5 a figure for me...  The Sales Tax in PA is substantially less, though for cost of living here it evens out to the majority I'm sure.

Anyway I'm ok with that on a lot of those figures, and the AT-AT Driver is pretty decent even at $7-ish.  I felt like I came out on top...  Oh and the kid was disappointed in the Snowtrooper when he opened it.  I tried telling him it's not like his Clones...  He wanted something though, so he took that and now the Snowtrooper's acting as a target for all his figures he likes.

I  found  about  11  cases  of  Vintage  TSC  figures  at  the  Super Wal-Mart  last  night  set  up  on   an  endcap.  They  were  in  those  long  shelf  display  boxes  4  wide  and  3  deep,  but  with  only  10  figures  per  box,  2  cardboard  spacers  were  used  to  keep  them  tight.  The  display  box  had  the  UGH  logo  and  Mail  away  offer  printed  on  a  raised  section  in  the  middle.  These  boxes  looked  cool  so  I  grabed  a  couple  to  display  my  figures.
