McFarlane Figures (formerly Movie Maniacs 6)
« on: May 16, 2003, 11:58 AM »
I just got my MM6 figures the other day (Aliens and Predators), and these are great figures! Its about time McToys actually released great sculpts with great articulation! These are really the only figures other than Star Wars that I'm interested in seriously collecting. I'm not a Movie Maniac fan per se, but I'm a huge Alien and Predator fan. Very happy with these figures. :o

Anyone else collect these?

I don't collect those, but they are very cool!  That alien queen looks so real!

Yeah, sorta.  I have the Predator the Hunter figure and the Stealth predator.  Passed on the Aliens and have yet to see the Queen.  Want the other pred, but no luck there yet either.  Nice stuff, but I generally like McFarlane's less twisted stuff (eg. sports, not wizard of Oz). :o

I have picked up the two Aliens and two Preds so far. I also have not seen the Deluxe Queen Alien yet.
I bought my figures from Meijers.
For those of you looking for me. I am now at www.sandtroopers.com

I think US retail is $9.99 depending on the store (TRU cheaper, collector shops more?)

Nice stuff, still haven't found the other predator though.

Wow! These things are just CRAZY with articulation and incredibly well done! I found most of them at several Meijer stores for $9.99 but still have yet to see the Alien Queen box set. Woulda been cool if they had done a couple versions of the "classic" Alien Warrior though as I think it's the best out of the "Alien" figures.

The Alien from the 2-pack "Alien VS. Predator" looks like the most classic version of the three that have been released.

Every chain I've seen these at are charging a minimum of $10.99 each.

Also, the Alien Queen set is due out at the end of the month.  I found a listing here:  http://www.kbtoys.com/genProduct.html/PID/2253099/ctid/17/ls/toys

This is hands down, my favorite Movie Maniacs assortment from McToys. Of course, I'm a big Aliens/Predator fan, so I'm a little biased. The articulation on these is superb, and it doesn't hurt the detail. I'm really hoping that we get an Alien warrior from "Aliens" before they lose the license on these.

Dang, that's the predator I can't get my hands on.   >:(

I also want to get my wife a Matrix figure, but I haven't seen them up here yet.  Need to start slipping collectibles into her office to justify my own purchases ;), doncha know?

The McFarlane stuff is really amazing quality and detail.  Me like.

I looked for the other Predator for you today, B. No dice though.  :-[

However, I did have to feed my new addiction with these 2 this morning. I love living in a non-collector town.. ;D
