I think the whole thing with this Shuttle has gotten completely ridiculous.  I've made endless jokes over the years about Hasbro treating their upcoming releases as if they're state government secrets that could result in the total destruction of the human race should they leak out, but their outright denials of the Shuttle being on the radar is absolutely hilarious at this point.

Asking Hasbro about the Imperial Shuttle at Target is the SW collecting community's Dead Parrot.  "This Shuttle is no more!  It has ceased to be!"  :D

From DarthChuckMC (who works at Target):

Quote
The IMPERIAL SHUTTLE is NOT a MYTH!

It will be featured on an Endcap, starting November 26th . It as NOT a Black Friday item. Stores are supposed to hold them until the 26th for the Endcap, since it will most likely be in the Ad that week (Nov. 26th-Dec. 2nd). There are about 40 Endcaps throughout the stores that will be "Limited Time Only" items. The ONLY toy items are the Imperial Shuttle and a Littlest Pet Shop Collectors Tin. There will be alot of other LTO items, but only those 2 toys. So far there isn't a "STREET DATE", preventing them from being sold early, but there is a "Set Date", that way the items are still in stores for the week of the Ad. MOST stores will probably stick to the Set Date, but have no fear, there are around 40,000 of these being shipped out, and If every store were to get equal amounts, that puts about 30+ per store.

I guess my theory on this item being a Black Friday special can be flushed down the toilet.

I was close!   :P

Actually, at 59.00 it is a remarkable deal compared to the tins. A huge ship, plus two figures. Instead of 2 lunch pails and 2 new figures.

60 bucks is a great deal! I was so psyched to hear that this IMP. Shuttle was only going to be $60. I've wanted one of these for the longest time and there were an innumerous amount of times I almost dropped $100 to get one. I can't wait.

Is this thing accurate scale? It looks like it. Hasbro should of re-packed the Red ROTS guard. :-\

They should of but considering we're getting a Shuttle plus 2 figures for 60 bucks I'm not complaining. Especially when it was originally over a hundred at FAO.

I paid 150 with shipping at FAO.com so I agree with you people should just bite their damn tongues, $60 is a gift.

Especially when TRU is selling the AT-AT, which is a comparable vehicle in size and plastic, for $90.

Reports are also stating that there is a Street Date for this on the shipping box, not a reset date, but strict instructions that these are not to put on the floor until after 6PM on Saturday the 25th. ???
