Series 3 Bounty Hunters at AFX for only $12!  :o  Grab 'em quick if you didn't before.  Sale ends Tuesday, 12/13.

As for that Gree chase...  If that turns out being as rare as the Blackhole Stormtrooper, and if they continue doing that with each new series now, I'm gonna be seriously pissed off - especially for marginally important and popular characters like him.  I'm already in for the super-elusive and high-end chase figures in the Kubrick line, so if GG starts doing the same with the Bust-ups, I may be inclined to bow out of these, 'cause it's just too much of a headache, and obviously I'd have to have a complete set, or I couldn't continue...  ::)

Ugh.

Good point, Matt.  Kubricks have always had chase figures, so people expect them.  But to start introducing chase figures later in the Bust-Ups line like they have, it may hurt Gentle Giant sales a bit if enough people are annoyed.

Oh, and FYI, I updated that checklist in my previous post.

Or people might not be quite so obsessive as certain others and the impact might be fairly minimal.

Thanks for the heads up Matt, unfortunately I must have saw your post too late as I can't find them on their site anymore.  I'm leaning more towards collecting the bust ups line (in a limited fashion - and OT only), and this would have been a great, inexpensive way to catch up on Series 3.  Oh well, just missed the boat on that one I guess...its ok, I probably shouldn't be spending even more right before Christmas anyways :).

I might be jumping into this line as well. After seeing these clones that are coming out it has really brought my attention to the line. Does anyone know where you can buy these by the case? This would pretty much ensure you get the chase figure wouldn't it? Might help relieve some of the stress of finding it by buying singles.

Depends on which "chase" figures you're referring to. The regular line chase figures (Leia, Vader/Maul, Silver Boba Fett, Sith Anakin) have been pretty easy to find in my experience. The "exclusive" chase figures (Blackhole trooper and Gree) seem to be the harder to find ones. And as far as I can tell, SWS.com doesn't offer cases of these, and these chases are showing up in their exclusive line.

Ok, so Gree is only going to be in the SWS.com 4pk? I thought it would be in the clean 4pk making it more available to a case purchase from say EE, etc. I guess that would make it a little more difficult to find :-\.

Actually, Gree was first found in the clean 4-Pack, which should be available at many retailers.  Of course, the odds of getting one aren't great, but if you did want to go for a case purchase, your odds would be better.

I just had a quick question for you regular Bust-Up collectors.  I think I'm going to get into this line a little further, since Gentle Giant really makes some nice product, and this line is a little more in my price range.  I'm especially interested in the upcoming Hoth and Cantina waves.  For those of you who collect, do you ever order (or preorder) waves online, or wait and find them at retail?  I've thought about ordering a set of these online for the upcoming waves, especially now that they aren't blind packed and you can get a complete set together (such as at AFXpress, Entertainment Earth, etc.)  Do you find that you get them in a timely fashion if you do order online, or is it better off to go retail?  Just curious if anyone had any opinions on this, thanks for any advice.
