I was arguing semantics.  Sith stars?  ROTSith yes, but they are not Sith (Ok, Anakin ends up one, but not Obi).  It's a poorly constructed sentence with duel interpretations.  And by duel, I meant two, not fighting.  Ah, screw it, the English language is absurd at best.

Dual. Dual. ;)

Well, these are the same guys who stuck Jango Fett into the ESB BH wave instead of IG-88, right?   :P

Ah, yes.  Excellent point there Jeff!

Ooh, that's one of my faves Jeff.  It's really cool to wait months and months for things that are in stock ::)  You can drop them an email and ask them to break up the order though.  I did that back with the clone sargeant bust and the adventure Kermit.  You have to pay shipping twice, but it's worthwhile sometimes.

I've got a funny feeling Jim's got my black hole stormtrooper on display and will be telling me shortly that he was just kidding and that I never got one :P

I just wanted to let you guys know that my case of 12 Bust-Ups arrived from AFX today.  I have to say, these are very cool.

My ratio was the following:
3 Stormtroopers - each a different pose
3 Darth Mauls - 2 regular, 1 variant
3 Darth Vaders - 2 regular, 1 variant
1 Count Dooku
1 Darth Sidious
1 Royal Guard

I'm pretty sure this is the same breakdown as previously reported by Jay and Jim.

The price was a little ugly living north of the border:
$59.99US + $23.95US shipping + $28.82US customs = $112.75US
$75.71CD + $30.22CD shipping + $36.36CD customs = $142.29CDN

Shipping and customs pretty much doubled the price!   :'(

So in the end, it works out to $9.39US each, or $11.86CDN each.

However, if you take into account the free 2-pack of Holo Vader and Maul, it comes to $8.05US or $10.16CDN each.

$10 a piece is a little steep, but at least I can be sure that I get one of each Bust-Up, including the 2 variants and 2 holos.

Plus, I've got an extra regular Darth Vader and Darth Maul to trade for the Series 1 Luke and Yoda that I still need.   ;D

Well, I think that pretty much does it for me.  I'm gonna go ahead and order the same case.  That'll work well, since I'm sending Hemish one of my Stormtrooper Bust-up sets from SWS.com.

The price was a little ugly living north of the border:
$59.99US + $23.95US shipping + $28.82US customs = $112.75US

Shipping and customs pretty much doubled the price!   :'(

That makes me seriously sick hearing that Jesse.  How the hell can they charge you 50% on customs?!?  That can't possibly be right/legal/sane...  That shipping amount is ridiculous as well.  That whole thing disgusts me, and I'd be beyond livid if I were in your shoes...   >:(

It's these ******* couriers that screw us Canucks over.  They have to charge us the GST (our national sales tax) of 7%, but then tack on a rape brokerage fee, depending on the item, I'm not sure how they calculate it.  It's likely based on the value of the item.

Oh, and then they charge the GST on the brokerage fee itself.  I mean, how many times can a guy get it up the hoop?   >:(

$5.22 GST + $29.10 brokerage fee + another $2.04 GST = $36.36.

So what is a brokerage fee?  Well, I'm told by UPS (in this case) and FedEx (other sites use it like GG and SWS.com) that this is charged for them dealing with customs and paying the duties for us.

When you receive an item through the postal service, the duties are only the GST + a $5 handling fee, so that would be $10.22.  But the couriers charge the brokerage fee instead, just so we remember how wonderful they are to us.   ::)

Bastards.   >:(

Dude, make friends with one of these guys, seriously.  I have no idea why chuckles still puts up with me and does it all for me, but thank goodness he does.  Paying the shipping to a US address and then having it shipped again is still cheaper plus you run the gamble with Canada Post + USPS and you pay customs fees somewhere between 30-50% of the time.  Way, way, better.

In other insanely related news  Hopefully Dave picked one of these up and will promptly put it up on the bay.  You'd be insane not to.  That folks is about $95 for packaging. :o

Thankfully, I think I may just have.  Thanks to a certain someone who will stay anonymous, just for his own privacy at this point.

You don't mind 12 to 15 deliveries a week do you?   ;D

Insane, $95 for a plastic bag.  Of course, some guys are apparently willing to pay $1000+ for some cardboard that holds that press kit.  But that's for another thread.   ;)

ok, so the chase might not be IG-88.

Not sure how cool it is to direct link this, so if the mods can reposess it to reduce the bandwidth to the originating site, that would probably be cool.

What are they doing, reading the "Hasbro Marketing to Piss Off the Fans" book?  Silver?  I think this is just getting a tad old.   ::)

Looks like the Series 3 chase is definately the Silver Boba Fett.  Here are pictures from an auction on Yahoo Japan:

Lame.  I was really hoping for IG-88.   :(

Maybe he'll end up being the summer convention exclusive?  :-\

More info on Series 3...

Early reports on the case break-down:

Boba Fett = 4/12
Jango Fett = 2/12
Bossk = 2/12
Zuckuss = 2/12
Dengar = 1/12
4-LOM =  1/12

I've seen reports that Fett is 3 normal to 1 silver, but I've also seen reports where Fett was even at 2 normal and 2 silver.
