There's 8 different Stormtroopers BTW.   :o

wait.

are they gonna be like the gentle giant busts, where i can just get a stormie with 8 different arms, or are there going to be 8 different stormtroopers that i need to get, one at a time, without trying to get more than 1 of each (although, having too many stormtroopers never bothers me)?

I have the blue Clone Trooper bust up, and it's a little over 2 inches tall.

So that's about the same.  Kubricks are around 60 mm which is a little over 2"

I can't believe this news:

Quote
A little surprised that nobody had discovered it yet, the GGS team let it slip early Thursday that there are special chase sets currently mixed in with the some 5,000 Spirit of the Rebellion Bust-Ups allotted for Comic Con. Roughly 500 of the packs currently being sold to winning ticket holders are in fact "glow-in-the-dark" variants. There are no limits to the number of Bust-Up sets fans can buy at the show, but you do need one winning raffle ticket per set. There are no markings on the boxes to indicate which version is inside, the only way to know for sure is to bust them out.

Drat and double drat!

There's a reason GG was the runner-up in Rebelscum's Retailer of the Year award :P

I'm getting awfully tempted by these as well, and it sounds like they're "wee" so they wouldn't take up a whole heck of a lot of room to display either (which is a major + with me).  I guess it depends how difficult they are going to be to collect...where they will be available, etc.  I always wanted to get into GG's mini-bust line, but can't really afford it, so this might be a nice alternative.  I'm going to have to go check out some of the pics from the show and see what they all look like.

To be honest, the Exclusive Bust Ups are kinda lame.  JJKS was just here checking out my set that I opened yesterday and he wasn't impressed either.  The Bust Ups that are actually painted are much cooler.

Okay, I'm in. Only problem is - I have no clue which ones are the Mini-busts and which are the Bust-Ups...

Okay is this list right?

Han Solo (Ceremony)
Leia
Clone Trooper (enlisted, pointing)
Luke (Ceremony)
C3PO
Count Dooku
Emperor Palpatine
Stormtrooper (aiming rifle)
Boba Fett
Clone (green/sgt, at ease)
Dengar
Zuckuss
4-Lom
Bossk
Jango Fett
Stormtrooper (weapon at ease)
Darth Vader
Stormtrooper (aiming at hip)
Yoda
Clone (yellow/commander, pointing)

Riiight?

And add in the following:

-Spirits of the Rebellion 4-pack with Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia & C-3PO

-Glow in the dark Spirits of the Rebellion chase 4-pack with Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia & C-3PO

-Spirits of the Rebellion Yoda (Entertainment Earth exclusive)

-chase Princess Leia in the series 1 Bust-Ups assortment

-Stormtrooper arm & weapon variations in the series 2 Bust Ups assortment (as many as 6 or 8 combinations)

There is definitely a Bounty Hunter wave, as well as a Clone Trooper wave

Okay cool, that makes it easier to figure out how much money to set aside. I'll be selling myself in order to afford all of this Star Wars merchandise...
