I figured I'd let people vote either if they want to but I was treating it like abstaining.    If Brent wanted to change his either vote he can.

As for a prize - I think it's a great idea.  (But something other than the Carnor Jax pack - I already pre-ordered mine so I won't have much use for another one when I win in December. :o

We can go for some other type of more generic item like clone trooper army builder packs or something.  Something anybody who wins can use more of.

Of course, I was also going to wait about another 6 weeks before bringing it up - but if the link is there, then we might as well register and start collecting bodies.

We're about six weeks later.  With 12 people and drafting here (if we are) when should we get started?

As for a prize, how about we all throw in an army builder figure and mail it to the winner, or is that too much?

I was just coming here to bump this up and restart the drafting conversation.  My thinking is that we should just start drafting here 3 or 4 weeks before kickoff of season one.

Unless someone wants to arbitrarily pick a day a week or two before the season starts and EVERYONE can commit to it - I don't want to haggle over a date for a week if at all possible.

I've got enough army builders that I can throw one into the pot.

Do we want to set any standards on what type of army builder?  I'd hate to get a 1996 fleet trooper or a bunch of old jawas when I win this thing.

Sounds reasonable...   but leaves some good ones out...

How about no older than OTC?  Leaves room for Commtech Stormies and Late Saga TIE Fighter Pilots.

Fine by me, but I was wondering if someone might argue against the commtech stormie?  The Tie pilot is great though.

Alright, the season starts Thu. Sept. 7th with the Steelers vs. Dolphins.

Yep, Thursday the 7th.

Our current plan will be to start drafting on August 12th.

I'm open to a live draft if everyone can get on the same page, but if we can't by then, that's the day we'll start.
We'll randomly pick a draft order a few days before that.

That's not going to be possible, as I recall.

Let's do a live draft and eliminate all doubt.

Yes, it's possible.  All you have to do is select a single person on the site that's not involved in the draft.  Dale, Brad, Chris matters not to me.  Or pick someone else on the site equally not involved, like chuckles or someone that everyone trusts.

That's what we'll do.

We'll list everyone's name, and some outside party, that we all agree on will assign each name a number.

Then one of us will randomly order the numbers and voila.
