My friend Chris will be back in the league this year if we settle on a live draft.  So, I guess unofficially his vote is for "live".

If it's a forum draft, he doesn't want to play.

If we still need a 12th team, I can try to get Juan to play again.

I'm pretty sure JayDouble is the Fighting Armidillos, which leaves SpudTrooper as the one person yet to register.

So I'll PM Spud and find out if he's still in - if he is, that's 12.  If he's not, and we settle on live draft, Dressel's friend Chris can join, if Spud's out and we settle on forum draft, Juan can play.

Live draft is fine with me too, although I don't really care either way.  Forum draft works too, but like Brent said earlier, being wishy washy doesn't help :P.  Looking forward to the season.

I vote live draft, never been a big fan of how long it takes to do a forum draft.

That's 5-3.

I'm going to change the Golden Girls' vote to Live Draft so it can be 6-2 so we can start thinking about a date that works.

I can do most evenings, Wednesday or Thursdays... the later the better (as in, 9 or 10 CST).

For those of you who have done a live draft online, roughly how long of a time should we plan on the draft to take?

One hour, with 12 people I'd say about 3 at max. The live drafts go by pretty quick as you only get two or three minutes per pick I believe, and if everyone is there it usually goes by faster.

An owner gets 90 seconds per pick.

The draft actually goes faster when less people show up though, and that's because when an owner is not there autopick takes over and selects a player in 5 seconds; whereas if the owner is present they may use the whole 90 seconds.

Matt C. - the draft will take 90 minutes.
