Looks like the gorilla put some weight back on this week.

Oh yeah I had a good meal.  250 lbs of meat.

Meanwhile Rex Grossman had better have at least as good a day as Hasselbeck just did - if I lose by the margin of that decision I'm going to throw in the towel.

I'm going to put my money on LJ, Barlow, and Grossman vs. Scott's Moss and Boldin.

Well I hope he has at least 20. I've given up on this game and I've got him in my other league.

Touchdown.

1st quarter, almost halfway there.

I was at that Cowboy game today - all I could think about was you getting fantasy points every time TO caught a TD.

And (not that you needed the 6.5 points) that first TD catch probably shouldn't have stood up - it looked like he pushed off to me.  But they called it on the defense - so lucky you, and lucky cowboys.

Good, then I'm doing my job.

But you should also have been thinking about the 10 pounds of crow that Slothus is eating right now.

I watched the whole game on CBS, to me it looked like he had his hands facing out and the Texans defender bounced off him.  I didn't see Owens extend his arms or elbows.

Even if you're right, I've seen so many calls go against me just from the games I've watched on TV this season that one was bound to break my way.

Ugh, 2 QB's on the roster, QB's with concussions. It's never good to have to pick up 37 year old QB to carry your fantasy team midseason, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

McNair is no spring chicken either.

You could have gone Alex Smith!

4 TDs...  :o

Oh well, he won my other game for me racking up 30 points. :)

I'm pretty happy with the way I managed my team today, I just had the misfortune of going against the hottest team in the league. :-\

12 TD's total in one week.

That's got ot be a JD TD record.

That's also got to be more than my team has scored in 5 games.  Amazing week for the Gorilla.

Well my lead is down to 2.5 or so points.

Embarassing enough considering how many players Scott is without - but by the same token I am without Fitzgerald and Harrison (my 2nd and 3rd round picks) and was dumb enough to sit my fourth rounder (Hasselbeck) on a day that he was good for 16 points.

If the Broncos can keep Moss out of the endzone I'll be feeling pretty good about my chances though - Boldin is awesome but he's going against the Bears, and they don't give up many TD's.

This is a big game for you too.  A loss drops you to 1-5, and that's going to be a big deficit to overcome.

I think we're going to have more than a few .500 teams make the playoffs, but you figure you have to at least go 7-7 to have a postseason.

You're right Scott was missing his 1,2,4,5th round players due to injury and bye weeks and you didn't start your 2,3,4 - so it wasn't really as big of a mismatch as we perceived.  Yahoo did give you a 15 someodd point edge in the prediction, but we all know that Yahoo's projection and $1.25 will get you a cup of coffee.

It was actually 14 total TD's for me this week: 5 rushing, 7 receiving, and 2 passing.

As for Rob's draft strategy...

I just want to repeat though even with the whole page 12/13 debate and the way it's going for Rob, if he were to rattle off 7 wins in the next 8 games, wouldn't shock me a bit.  His team is still talented and dangerous.  He won't win all 8 though cuz I'm fixin' to pat his little bottom again Week 12  ;)
