As long as his body is put to good use, Scorch makes a good organ donor.  What are you going to use for his body armor?  Sculpy?  Styrene?  Both?

The plan is to dremel off the armor of the Scorch body and put it on the microman body thereby giving him the actuation that Hasbro forgot.

That looks like an interesting concept, Phruby. Good luck Dremeling off the armor, though- I'm not good with one. I'm too much of a wuss to try that.

sacrilege perhaps Paul, but the Scorch figure sucked enough ass below the waist that it needs done.  I look forward to this one.  The Microman body is gonna lend itself better to this project I think...  The poseability is cool and the armor should help conceal it some whereas on bare skin it's a little different looking for my tastes.

this is really going to be interesting. good luck dremeling the armor off. be careful, don't want scorch to claim a finger or something like that

Yah, I know. Odds are I'm going to get my fingers cut up somehow. I have a clamp and magnifying glass that should help protect my fingers.

This is a very creative project. I've seen people add knee articulation to Scorch, but this takes it to a whole new level! I'll be keeping my eye on this custom. I can't wait to see what you do with it.

Anyway, I've got Scorch boiled and poped. Hasbro really cheaped out on this one considering the limited amount of movement. The legs are solid and the arms have limited swing. He reminds me of one of those preposed ep2 figures. Heck even the Cliff Claven figure has more joints. He's really easily to take apart. After a boil he practially fell apart in the pot.
