KOTOBUKIYA Clone Trooper EPIII version
« on: June 18, 2006, 07:52 AM »
Hey Yesterday I bought the clone trooper ep3 version of the KOTOBUKIYA line.

The 1:7 clone is a great model to have, it's big and full of articulation   ::)

The model I have has some disapointments.... the gun seems to be bend upwards and is slightly off too the right  :(

Also the model does not seems to fit on the base, even with a lot of pressure applited >:(

The base is the model with many points off articulation en nicely weathered.

The blaster and the rifle are pretty good painted and have lots of articulation

The Clone is the best of all you can get.... for me rated 9/10 overall

I can recommend this model for anyone who wants it, but beware it can be very pricey....
I bought mine at a sale on the a ACME-moviestore,
It was 72,5 Euro's, down too 55 Euro's..... with a Coupon............. 30 Euro's, that's a deal  8)

72,5 Euros..... about 90 to 100 dollars?
55 Euros..... about 70 dollars? Maybe 75?
30 Euros..... about 50 dollars?

The stuff I collect trough a friend of mine are also based on Dollar-currency, but I pay offcource in Euro's
I will ask him what the currency for Dollar-Euros and Euros- Dollars is...

Nothing worse than having a bent gun...anyway if you heat the gun up with a hairdryer or heat gun until the plastic is soft, you will able the move the gun into the correct spot, then just hold it in place and stick the piece under some cold water from a sink or in a bowl to cool the piece off.  Once cooled it will retain the new shape. ;D
