Collection Losses

Just wondering... has anyone ever "lost" stuff that you never could find again?  Or somehow threw stuff away on accident?

I am 99.99% sure that all of my POP's for the VSTC figures got thrown out by my wife.  Here is what I had -

Scout Trooper - 12 POP's
Tusken Raider - 6 POP's
Luke X-Wing - 4 POP's
Han Solo - 4 POP's
Greedo - 2 POP's

I had them all in a nice little stack on the coffee table, and I think in the shuffle of 3-weeks worth of mail, it got mixed in and thrown away.

Pretty frustrating.

The only thing I recall losing is my TPM Naboo Padme in the car.

I really didn't need them too bad, as I think the Lucas figure is kind of lame considering they used the Commtech Stormie body.  But I had planned on getting at least one and helping others with the POP's, but oh well.

The only thing I ever remember losing was the Vintage Jawa blaster down in the bowels of my parents couch (when I was a little kid). I searched and searched amidst the cookie crumbs and dog hair, but for the life of me I couldn't find it.

I remember losing my vitnage Amanaman staff as a kid. About 10 years later I found it mixed in with my Masters of the Universe Eternia playset

My Cloud City Capture Chewie fell from a shelf and his blaster went........

Chewie, I have extra scouts pop if you want one. Anyone really, I have 6?

Sly Moore fell from a shelf two years ago, and for the life of me I can't find her gun.  However, next month we are converting my studio into a third bedroom and the room will be stripped down to nothing.  I'm hoping it shows then.

Actually, a few weeks ago I found my Zam Wesell on the ground and can't find her damn arm.

I lost the stand to that Saga Watto. I think the Vaccum got it. I've also lost one of Djas Purr's blasters.

I lost one of the gun shields from the modern At-At and a gun to the Lego Gunship. Lost lots of stuff as a kid (although I became a Nazi about keeping track eventually) and had a small amount of stuff "borrowed" by kids down the street. One noteable theft, the hands to our original Optimus Prime.

I lost the lightsaber to my ROTS Holo Yoda. He fell off my shelf and it was never found again. Not a total loss since he never used his saber in a holo transmission.

In an apartment I rented in Boston for one year the pistol in POTJ Zutton's holster fell to the floor and I could not find it despite an exhaustive search.  When i moved out of my apartment, and I mean when I had just about every last thing out of there and into the new place, I was walking around barefoot, spackling all the thumbtack holes in the walls where my carded figs were hanging, when I felt something stuck under my toes as I walked.

Don't piss him off.  Zutton is armed again.

I had a vintage Cloud Car pilot when I was a kid. I used to play with him all the time along with the rest of them. One day, I couldn't find him. He wasn't in my case or in the usual places. I was upset. Then I went to my neighbor, who collects SW figs and he hadn't recently acquired one as well... made me wonder.... 

Shoulda force choked him and did the Jedi mind trick on him and brought the pilot back to Cloud City.
