Got my NHL 23 figs.  I didn't luck into a Selanne  :'( chase figure but I didn't make out too badly:

Some.  There are "Collector Level" chase figures and regular chase figures.  The regular chase figs are just alternate jerseys (white jersey Ovechkin in this series and a white jersey Schenn - regs are red and blue respectively) but so are some of the collector level stuff.  It's reinvigorated the scalping market if nothing else.  For this series there are the following:

1/50 white Howe (regular jersey) with autograph
1/100 Jets Selanne  >:(
1/200 All star jersey Ovechkin (not sure about the number released but more than Selanne, less than green Howe)
1/250 green Howe
1/500 Fleury with red carpet, gloves
1/1000 Orr

ANd probably one or two more.  But yes, many of the chase figures are numbered now.

Finally home.  We drove down for the Timberwolves/Suns game and I was able to pick this up from its temporary home in Minneapolis.

Wait.  This thread has been dormant for 3 YEARS?!?!  I honestly can't even remember the last time I bought a Sports Picks figure.

I was really into them and then about 3 years ago a new wave came out and I noticed the figures were about an inch smaller than they had been.  It was enough that they didn't look good next to previous releases. So I just basically sold off like 100 figures. Marvel Universe more than ate up the freed up shelf space.

I have four different RG3 McFarlane Sportpicks figures and they are all pretty sweet. They seem to sell pretty well in general around here, although TRU is pretty much the only place left carrying them.

I bought one just last week.  Teemu Selanne with the puck in the package.  Never lasted here in the 'Peg and not surprisingly.  But I was in a small town Walmart in southern Ontario last week and there he was.  Had to laugh.
