It looks as though there might be some more repaints in this series other than Bledsoe.  The assortment is kind of light as things stand now.  Anyone want to venture a guess about some of the others?

I think these are possible:

-Black Jersey McNabb
-Giants Warner
-Raiders Sapp
-Redskins Brunell
-Eagles T.O.
-Browns Garcia

I would agree with those.  I've seen rumours about the TO and the Sapp figures.  Lots of possibilities out there.  I'll be sitting back and watching this round though.  Some great looking figures, but nothing I need to own in series 8.  No cases for me.

Bledsoe sucks ass.  Mo Lewis hitting him, thus making way for Brady, was the best thing that ever happened to the Pats. (Although I will agree that he helped out a little in the 2002 AFC Championship game, getting them one step closer to their first SB ring)

If some of those suggestions are true, I'd buy the McNabb and TO to get some Eagles figures.

Someone mentioned this possibility to me:  Rams Bettis.  It's not out of the realm of possibility, and that would give us the cool, old-school Rams uni.  There's also Curtis Martin, another former Pat.

Well, NFL 8 and the LMB Cooperstown series are both out.  Anyone kind enough to look out for the Yogi and Reggie variants for me?

Yeah, the variant is Nolan in the '70's/'80's Astros uni.  What's better is they're doing Reggie in the 70's vintage A's uni!

Picked up Cooperstown Seaver & Ryan regulars tonight.  They are just SO COOL!  Wish I could've found Reggie & Yogi, but it wasn't meant to be tonight.  They had some of the others in the lineup, and I wanted to pick up Bob Gibson, but I have to save some $ for Wizard World in Chicago.

I also picked up my first NFL 8 piece, Jamal Lewis.  This is definitely a cool series, even if they didn't make a single defensive player in the lineup.

Scott, you wanting both white and purple this time around?

Nick,
have you seen any mention of them going to dark jerseys for all regular figures?  Sure seems to be a trend for football and hockey lately.

This totally has to be based on that incredible catch Moss made last year.  That was one of the most incredible catches I've ever seen!

As for them going for mostly dark jerseys in the NFL line...I really haven't looked into it all that much, but it's possible that they're doing it.  However, I think the Steelers LB they're doing is wearing the white jersey in his regular version.
