Yeah.  I've seen it in the store a couple of times.

The big news today is about the Pro Bowl Clinton Portis that went on sale today.  It's only at http://www.clintonportis.com, and at the cheap price of $19.99 each.  :o

Don't forget the $17 for shipping on the Portis!  People are up in arms about that.  I saw that guys spent nearly $100 on 4 exclusive Portis figs.

I haven't hit any stores lately, so not sure what's out there.  I did stop into Target today to pick up Kill Bill Vol. 2, but there were no SPs and you could see that the toy section had been reset (lots of new OTC stuff.)  I did manage to get a white Ahman Green for $21 delivered off the Spawn Boards and my buddy, who works at TRU, is hookin me up with a white Jamal Lewis and white McNair.

I got him in a trade and barely even looked at it.  Just put it in a box set to go to the storage space.  I gotta start looking at these a little more.  Just have 3 left in NFL 8 now:  Manning, Lewis & Brown variants.

Yeah, you gotta see the mud.  It's hilariously shiny.

I've got a Lewis chase coming, but might wait til the 2pak to pick up the white Manning (the one w/ Eli.)  Passing on Brown now that he's in Tampa.

I've been thinking the same thing about Peyton.  Why should we buy the same figure twice?

Blake/Shanahan two pack.  Good question.

I hate when they do that stuff with the 2paks.  Totally pointless and a waste of a potential new fig.

Anyone else find this promo at TRU?  I got the Strahan-McNabb 2-pack for about $10.  What's up with that?

BTW, OCB....Amazon's got 12" Randy Moss.

A board member on the Spawn Sports Board hooked me up with a McNabb/Strahan for $10.  Very cool 2pak.  Anyone else see the list posted by Insider about the upcoming lines for the Legends recently?  It was deleted by Mark Weber.  Good stuff on there:

Cooperstown 2 List
Cal Ripken, Jr.
Mike Schmidt
Catfish Hunter
Babe Ruth
Willie Mays
Willie Stargell

NBA Legends List
Julius Irving
Larry Bird
Jerry West
Pete Maravich
Wilt Chamberlain
Figure # 6

NHL Legends 2
Gretzky 3
Gretzky 4
Gretzky 5
Grant Fuhr
Phil Esposito
Mike Bossy
? Beliveau

Jean Beliveau - Montreal Canadiens.

Damn, no Bobby Orr :'(  That's really disappointing.  No Howe and no Orr, grrr.  Too much Gretzky ::)

The most exciting news though by far is the NBA Legends lineup :o  No surprise to not have Jordan, too much $$$$ is my guess.  But Bird ;D and Irving :D  West and Chamberlain are super cool too, but I'll likely pass on them for space reasons.  I definitely need a Bird chase piece, no doubt about that.  Hell, I may order a case :o  Maravich absolutely rocks as a pick too.  That guy could light it up.

Baseball series is mighty nice too.  Almost makes me think too good?

It's probably licensing on all of them.  Personally, I'm not so keen on Willie Stargell being in the second Cooperstown assortment.  I think there are a lot more noteworthy players who could get done before him, but c'est la guerre.

I don't think anyone can really argue with the NBA Legends assortment.  Wow!  And this is from someone who's only a casual basketball fan.  I gotta hope that figure #6 would be Bill Russell.
