And Brent, wasn't it you who originally posted the Bledsoe retro pic?  I think I replied that Bledsoe sucks ass and Mo Lewis hitting him was the best thing to ever happen to the Pats.  Boy you getting senile :P

:-[  What's worse, getting senile or forgetting you're getting senile? :P

Psst.  Senility. ;)

Someone just posted a pic on the Sports Board of a chase Dolphins Seau from NFL 9!  Some guy in Cali has it on ebay right now.  Just type "mcfarlane seau" and it'll be there.  Very cool piece.

Very awesome!  It's nice to see the D getting represented in Sports Picks.

Sportspicksfigures

Has the line ups for MLB 11 & 12.  Only collect BoSox players, so it's good to see the Big Man Ortiz and Jesus Damon.   Ortiz will most likely be batting and here's hoping Damon's running, his hair flapping and him jumping to make a catch against the Green Monster.

Very, very disappointed with MLB 11 and 12.  Where's Chavez and Hudson from the A's?  Not impressed at all.

Not that I collect them all, but I agree.  To many duplicates and in some cases cougharodcough, triplicates.

Yep, with that many players, seeing a third figure is amazing (cough*6 Patrick Roy*cough).  Those selections do little for me, but I don't own any baseball yet.

For the Minnesota guys, how many White Culpeppers am I chasing?

Not interested in the football guys, but you can certainly put me down for this one:

3-inch NHL two packs:
Series 3 - Steve Yzerman 2/Marian Gaborik

My Favorite Player as a youngling mixed in with my current favorite player?  :o

Sweeeeeeet.

Thanks, Bug!

Well, those sell like crap, so if you can't find one, it shouldn't be a big issue up here, that's for sure.

Walmart cleared them out, with pretty much only the packs with a goalie selling reasonably well.  Even then, I could find all of series one on the shelves.  That said, they seem to be a hit with parent of kids.  $15 for a single regular fig is a bit steep I guess, but $8 for two - 3 inch figs seems ok.  I'm sure we'll see series two up here.

Did you guys ever see the 3" hockey figs?  I'm guessing no based on your post, but thought I'd ask.

Yeah, they saw a very limited run at Target stores mainly.  Most got in a case or two then nothing else.

I managed to score a complete set of series 1, but it took me a while to track down a second Brodeur set (for my sister).  There were 1-2 packs that pegwarmed for a bit (non-goalies), but most sold through pretty quick.  I'm willing to bet that the Gabby set will be the best seller round these parts though in series 3...

Huh, ok.  Makes sense I guess.  But sure illustrates a point of difference between our locales.  I can't go to a store, other than Walmart, without falling on these things.  Not a single piece I couldn't find for you within a store or two.  They're just everywhere you go.  Kinda spooky really, tiny little men with sharpened pieces of metal on their feet carrying clubs.

Definitely some nice lineups.  I'm glad to see Sheffield and Mussina in those MLB lineups.  BTW, Brent you're up in the draft.

If there is one thing I've learned living in Minnesota, it's that Canadians love their Hockey.  And beer too I guess, eh?

Thanks, not for a while again ;D

And yes, hockey and beer, preferably at the same time.  Brought home some Leinenkugel from the US.  Haven't had it for some time.  We either drink that or Killian red.  Not sure why, but we have since back in my rowing days and the Head of the Mississippi race.
