My purchases have been pretty limited for NFL 10 so far.  I've only bought Roy Williams, Adam Vinatieri and  chase versions of Ladainian Tomlinson and Trent Green.  I have to admit that I'm a little fed up with the repaints and second versions of players.

Jake Delhomme - Rich Gannon repaint
Trent Green - Jeff Garcia repaint
Terrell Owens 2
Rany Moss 2
Ladainian Tomlinson 3 (if you count the San Diego Super Bowl set)
Ricky Williams 2...and he isn't even in the league this year!

Personally, I think that the new Randy Moss is a little bit better than the frist, Scott, but it's your toy dollars to work with.  I know that if they made a new Shockey I'd be all over it.

Ok, which jersey is the chase for Williams?  I found both today and didn't have a hot clue which was the chase ::)  Is it the alternate jersey to the photo or is it a Hasek-style screw up?

I did pick up an orange Rickey on principle and a Vinatieri as well.  Mikey, do you want it?  Otherwise I'll return it.

The Roy Williams chase is the blue doublestar jersey, not the white one.  McFarlane pulled another fast one.  I think they're trying to screw the scalpers again, the way they did with black jersey Gannon.

Thanks, it makes sense.  Now I have to go back tomorrow and put the white one on the pegs and pick up the blue.   ;D  Can you link a pic if it's not too much trouble.  Sorry, not a big fan so the "double star" makes me nervous.

No need.  It's the figure that's pictured on the cardbacks.

 :-[  Yeah, that works.   :-X

So a pretty nice case I found today then: Vinatieri, orange Rickey and double stars Williams.  Cool.

I actually left two white LT's on the shelf last week.

Oh, you got the Vinatieri chase?  Cool.  I was kind of wondering if they were going to make a bearded or cold weather version of him.

No, no.  Just a Vinatieri.  Regular blue jersey, no snow, nothing like that.  Is there a chase?  I didn't check for a beard though.

Sorry, thought Vinatieri was just less common, like Ogden.  Well, until I got one anyway ::)

Naahh, just been wondering about that.  I haven't heard anything solid.  It seems like the WR's are getting all the attention in this series.

I'll check tomorrow anyway.  Neat series really.  I'm almost tempted to keep Ricky, so damn bright.  I seldom have luck with football, this was quite a surprise.  Probably should have picked up the LT, at least one anyway.

It's a chase, and he's probably coming back.  If anything, it could be decent trade bait eventually.

So I take it no one read my post earlier w/ the explanation of the Roy Williams fig.  I'm still looking for a double star, so if anyone sees one, keep me in mind.  Also, if you find another orange Ricky, LMK since my buddy (a big Dolphins fan) wants one.

Mark Weber confirmed there is no Vinatieri chase.

No, just Morgbug.  Don't mind him.  He's just Canadian.   ;D

No Vinatieri chase, eh?  That stinks.  They've finally made an OT and a K, and they don't make chase versions of either?  It's an outrage, I tell you!
