Pet peeves... Annoyances... Things that piss you off!

This needed to be bumped again. I was going to Target today and was waiting at a light to get to the shopping center. There were three lanes at this light - on the left is the "left turn only" lane, in the middle (where I was) is the "left turn or go straight" lane, and the right is the "right turn or go straight" lane.

So the light turns green, and I make my turn. However, some ******* (in a huge F-350, no less) from the "left turn only" lane speeds up and almost rams me in the side. Apparently he was in the wrong lane.

After narrowly avoiding being squashed, the (I assume drunken) redneck ******* starts giving me one of those honk-a-thons, where he keeps his hand on the horn forever. Dumbass.

And to make things even worse, Target didn't even have the Windu Battlepack.

I had a girl friend who always drove around parking lots looking for the "best" place.  Many times, we could have been in and out of the store in the time it took her to park.  Me?  I can't stand parking lots.  I always park far from the store, where there's never a shortage of spots,  and walk a bit.  It's good for me.

Another traffic/pedestrian complaint.

Where I leave work, I have to make a lefthand turn across a very busy undivided four lane.  At this corner, actually maybe 1/3  of the way down the block, is a sky walk for pedestrians to keep them from getting squished.

At least five times in the past month or two, there's been a dumbass or two standing there on the corner to my left, in the shadow of the skywalk, trying to cross the highway and making it to where if I get lucky enough to have a break in traffic, I'm going to also have to worry about them jumping in front of me.  OR they've already crossed halfway and are standing in the ******* turn lane underneat the skywalk waiting to get run over and blocking me from making a turn even if I could.


I think I'm going to start throwing water baloons at them.  I really don't want to run over one of them.  It's too damn much paperwork.

Yeah, those people that drive around and follow you to your car in parking lots are annoying. And there's been a few times that one of these "mental giants" has actually honked because we weren't loading our kids and packages in the car fast enough.

When I was younger, I lived a couple miles from the local mall and would often just walk there to avoid parking. Some people would get so ticked off when they realized that they had been following me through the parking lot and I wasn't even going to my car. Of course, I must admit that on occasion I did incite this anger by walking through the parked cars with my keys out, looking like I was searching for my car. But boy, that was fun.

Old people that go in the express lane , with like 30 items?!  The workers (at target) don't tell them to go into a different line , most likley because they're seinors , but..when you have 3 or 4 people with 1 item  in the express lane , and then you have some seinor with 30...it ..well..just annoys me.

Not quite sure why you had to quantify this .  I've seen plenty of whippersnappers display the same level of rudeness.  It seems like "new math" didn't help the younger generation count either .

Customers who feel the need to apologize/comment when their credit card doesn't scan immediately. If it doesn't work right away, I will swipe it in the opposite direction. If that doesn't work, I will punch in the numbers manually. If that doesn't work ... well, I've never had that not work.

Don't waste my time explaining that you use it a lot and the magnetic strip is kinda worn out, or that sometimes other cashiers have had to punch it in manually, or informing me you should order a new one but haven't got around to it. I don't care what cashiers at other stores have done. STFU and have a little faith that I can do my job.

The dickhead in my building who apparently thinks that he has to protect his delicate bum from the potty germs with an intricate weave of toilet paper on the seat, but then leaves his makeshift ass-gasket in place, along with a steaming bowl full of floating unflushed ****.

Something that bugs me:

People who type "sculp" instead of "sculpt" in regards to action figures.  Not sure why this is, because my spelling and English are atrocious (I'm no english genius) but it bugs the **** out of me

The friggin' lumberjack who decided to cut down a tree at 7:00 last Sunday morning.   I forgot to bitch about it earlier, but since the same neighbors now seem to be using a chainsaw to hack through some sort of metal that doesn't want to be hacked through, it jogged my memory.

The neighbor that lives below me in my building has his girlfriend over onnce a week (I can tell when her car is in the parking lot) and around 2 or 3 a.m. they decide to "bump uglies". Puting it mildly, she isn't the quietest person in the sack and couple that with the repetitious THUD... THUD.... THUD, it sounds and feels like she's in the same room with me. It's like porn for the blind.
