Yep.

Man, I really need to go grab some more float frames for these.  I haven't framed a key since the Sandtrooper one.

Was able to get a Leia key when they came back up.  I still have all the OT keys, was worried I'd have a gap.

What's crazy is that they were available to order online until about 12:00pm today at CharacterKey.com. You would think with only 750 to go around, they would have been completely sold out by the time the convention was over. Must have had quite a few left over after SDCC.

From Morly on RS:  ACME - Final Character Key from the Animated line

Quote

Character key update!

The FINAL key from our Star Wars Animated line will be released as a Comic-Con exclusive in July. As always, we will offer a small amount to online buyers that can not attend the convention, as well, but details on that will follow...along with our reveal as to WHICH character will be featured!

Hey Guys,

Yeah, just the end of the animated line (which we started with Slave Leia). We're not necessarily through with the new Clone Wars series and there will likely be more character keys, just not in the animated style that Acme and Gentle Giant created a few years back.

Kind of sad, but not surprising.  I had to get out of these due to budget a little while back, but it seemed like they have really slowed down the last year plus.  I sold mine off except for Han and Boba Fett, and would likely only pick this last one up if it was Chewie.  They are really spiffy though, and I wished I could have continued with them.

I did like this series, but have never settled on how to display them. Currently they are just taped on the inside of some cabinet doors where I house kubricks. They were a good looking line, and reasonably priced. I'm ok with it ending though, and don't have any interest in starting to collect whatever their new line is. I hope the last one is Chewie, but Palpatine would also make sense. Since the only C-3PO and R2 are from clone wars, a single key with the 2 of them would be fine with me too.

Sad to see this line go, it was one of the few things I still collected all of them.  Or at least all of the ones I could get my hands on.  Oh well at least I don't have to make sure I am online a certain times of the day when these things go on sale anymore.  Now I just need to find the three I was never able to get, which for a reasonable price I'm sure will never happen...
