I see that case also includes 2x #38 Bespin Vader. As if Wal-Mart needs MORE of those.

Makes you wonder why they even bothered with this wave in the first place.   ???

With that ratio, the "exclusives" just took on a whole new meaning.

Would it not make sense to skip the whole endcap dealio and just ship regular cases?  I think you could do a decent assortment mix with the five exclusive figures... >:(

I know the Wal-Marts in my area never participate in the whole special endcap deal.  Heck, only one of my Wal-Marts received VTSC.

I have a feeling this wave is going to be tough to find.

Is that picture really an indication that there won't be a regular case full of these guys?

No.

But I could see Hasbro using the same ratios.

I'll put it this way:  there is no evidence that there won't be regular cases of these, but there is evidence (the pictures from overseas and eBay) that these will be coming in endcap display boxes.

Since they are a Wal-Mart exclusive, does it make sense for them to ship the same figures to Wal-Mart in two different ways?  I guess we'll see but I'm not holding my breath... :-\

It would make more sense if those boxes for the endcaps only had the exclusive figures. I know when they had the exclusive wave of marvel legends figures they got both display boxes as well as regular cases.

Most of the Wal-Marts I've been to don't even use those endcap longboxes for the figures.  They just shove them on the pegs with the rest of the figures and toss the boxes out completely.

As far as the case assortments go, I seem to remember 4-inches.de had a case assortment of figures that wasn't the long boxes (as it had a couple of wave 9 figures included) of the WM wave, but I don't recall off the top of my head when I saw it.  It was probably at the same time they had the photo of the long-box cases, but I'm too lazy to look right now.   :P

Holy **** is Hasbro retarded or what!? They pack a crap load of peg warmers (besides the SBD & Luke) with an exclusive wave!? x 2 Vader instead of one of the "new" figures. If they don't have cases full of this wave I'll be pissed off more. ::)

We still don't know if this is true in the states. Europe has different case ratios.

They did it last year with the Bail/Leia & ObiWan/Luke exclusives last year.
I remember my dream now.
