Perhaps Hasbro should also consider a Skiff rerelease, since quite a few fans are still missing this one. Seeing that "new" BP, it'd be good timing.

It looks like the Skiff may actually be packed in that Battle Pack.  I looked at that photo and there are some telltale signs that either the Skiff is packed in that Battle Pack, or they actually photographed the Skiff and printed that photo on a carboard mockup of the Skiff.  The levers are there, as are the foot pegs and the collapsing gangplank.

That would be awesome! I see the pegs. If they do that I'd be happy, I'm picking the set up nevertheless. :P

Vehicles I'd like to see redone?

1 - Rebel Snowspeeder Rogue 3 with Wedge Antilles in Snowspeeder Pilot gear
2 - Red 2 X-Wing with new Biggs Darklighter (removable helmet, etc)
3 - Gold 5 Y-Wing with Davish "Pops" Krail
4 - ARC-170 in Space Whale paintscheme (ala the new Titanium ARC-170)
5 - A-Wing in blue concept art paintscheme

That's a good list. What's kind of interesting to me are the Royal Guard fighters from the EU.

Well, being that next year is the 30th Anniversary of SW, I'd love to see some of the iconic ships re-released with minimal changes:

* Millenium Falcon (I never got the version with the fancy blue lights)
* TIE Bomber (once a WM exclusive that I never found)
* TIE Interceptor (again, a retailer exclusive that was HTF)
* Tatooine Skiff (there's a trend going on here)
* Y-Wing (same release that Target had)

* Green Anakin Starfighter (great repaint for their beloved $19.99 asst)
* Anakin's Clone Wars Super Duper Starfighter (again, great refresh for above asst)

This might actually be on the way.  If you check some of EE's case assortments for the assault vehicle line, there is in fact an Anakin starfighter due out in 2007.  And there was a hint in the Hasbro Q&A that one of the two Toys R Us exclusive ROTS Jedi starfighters might be reissued for the 30AC.

I think both of the TRU exclusive fighters are cool, but I would have preferred more movie accurate paint jobs.  Both of those were a bit off in the paint apps.

Yeah, I did read that in Hasbro's QNA, but I see no mention of one on EE.com's website.  I only see the yellow version for 2007.

That's the one they have images for.  But seeing how the yellow version was reissued this year in TSC packaging, it's a fair bet that the version in the 30AC line is going to be the green one.

As for the image on EE's site, I'm thinking that it might just be a case of them trying to offer up an image even though it's inaccurate.  After all they did show a photoshopped version of a black Jedi Starfighter and offer that up as the Darth Vader Sith starfighter well before Hasbro offered up an image of the real thing.  This could be a similar case.

My choices would be along the same line, consisting of OT ships that I missed out on before.  I wouldn't mind getting that Falcon with the fancy blue lights either, I just have the POTF2 version right now.  Plus, I think if they could have found a way to release the Falcon with a Han and Chewie as a store exclusive around Christmas the way the Shuttle is this year, it really would have sold (at a decent price)  Otherwise, I'd like to see the OT ships that I missed out on originally:

* TIE Bomber
* Tatooine Skiff
* Y Wing (this one is rumored from the Q and A's, right?)
* Sandcrawler (probably wishful thinking, but I couldn't afford it when it was out last time)

If we got those, and they re-did the Cloud Car, I'd be pretty happy :).  Re-releasing the TRU exclusive Jedi Starfighters would be ok too.  I saw the Obi-Wan one once, but passed at the time since the ROTS spending had been so crazy.  I wouldn't mind picking it up if it were re-released.

The Black Sith Starfighter was indeed photoshopped by our graphics team at Entertainment Earth because Hasbro did not yet have an image to release.  This was clearly labeled in big bold red letters so there was no confusion that it was, in fact, a fake.

As to the future of Starfighters, the Anakin Skywalker's Jedi Starfighter in future assortments has the same product number as previous releases.  We have received no indication that the item would change in any way shape or form.   As such, there is no reason to expect a change.  It's a very popular vehicle at retail (despite collectors being sick of it), and since the kid market for the schoolbus yellow starfighter is still strong, there's really no reason to stop shipping it just yet.

If there is to be a green one, I'd expect it to be either an exclusive, or sold as a separate, new product with a new number and possibly even a new/different name.

As of yet, cases shipping from Hasbro with 30AC and TSC vehicles in it have a mix of packaging-- so there haven't been any updates yet of older vehicles, yet.   Who knows what a future shipment might bring?
