LOVE the droid!  wish I had one!  I can definitely see Lando owning this sleek, shiny, sexy model.

And I dig lando a lot too, but the cape doesn't quite fit.  The rest of the outfit is great, though, very creative stuff!!

Very cool, i like the silver plating, what did you use?  Ayya Vida and what else?

Thanks Glassman...

You're correct on the Ayya Vida body.  Though I cut down her hip joint, to make her not be quite so wide-stanced.  Because of this, the back, or rather her backend looked a a little wierd, so I "installed" an Aayla Secura backend.    ::)

For the silver plating I used aluminum tape, cut in very small and specific pieces to fit over the contour of the body, and to look like panels.  I finally used silver paint to give it a bit of a wash, and to fill in at the joints.

Thanks again!

Wow, that is a very interesting take on a Betty Bot! I never would have thought to take an actual female figure(s) and then silver plate them. It gives it the smooth (and purposly sexy) curves the Betty Bots had. The idea of cutting small pieces of aluminum tape is very ingenious also. The panel look was VERY good.

Could we get some clear pictures of JUST the droid?

Oh, and Lando looks very spiffy himself. I do agree about the cape though...

Nice job you really captured the likeness from those concept scetches. What did you use for the Blue Visor?

Nice Job.

What figure line is Ayya Vida from I'm not familiar with that character.

Great Job.

Nice Solid interpretation of a key Padme Outfit. I'm still banking Hasbro is going to make this on. I just hope it comes out as nice as yours.

Great Job!

This is my favorite of your recent works. Great choice on the Fire Speeder Base. What did you use for the Tunic?

Good Work, Keep em coming

Thanks for the compliments guys.  These were quite nice to take a break from a true custom, and just paint and "battle damage" the figures that were pretty good sculpts to begin with.

Outrider - thanks for the kind feedback in all the threads, it's much appreciated.

I do like to make my figures span across the Star Wars time periods as much as I can - and of course, it always helps to be inspired by so many other great customs on the boards.

Thanks  ;)

Fritz - here's a quick rundown of the parts used:

ROTS - Plo Koon head x2, neck post, hands
ROTS - Pilot Obi Wan Arms
Saga - Imperial dignitary collar
Saga - Capt. Typho tunic/skirt

And of course the legs and torso of the firespeeder pilot.

As for the hood and cloak, it's a ROTS Emperor hood, cut open on the front (the little clasp), and the 500th Vader cape.  To make the hood fit right, I had to cut down the extra head a bit in the back, but the hood actually is sculpted as to look like it would be fitting over his natural contours.  Since it's a ball joint head, it makes for an easy swap to put the hood/robe on.

Thanks for the compliments.  I too, think that this figure will eventually be made, but with the knee pad -that forms the bodice of her dress, it was too tempting to not work on it now.

Quazar - I like your suggestion ---- I may paint it a gloss black, or maybe even just use a clear gloss to give it a more leathery look.  Thanks!

Hey guys, here a quick parts list that hopefully will cover any questions.

ROTS - Luminara Unduli torso sanded down quite a bit
POTF - Ceremony Leia arms, hair bun
Saga - Leia in Boussh head (which is awfully small, and kinda childlike)
POTC - Rabe' legs  just boiled and popped out, and doesn't really affect the original figure, other than making a bit more prone to tipping over.

The visor is simply a carefully cut piece from a notebook insert.  It's very thin plastic which makes it easier to work with.

And finally the belt is just a random belt piece from some roman/greek figure
