The one beef I have with MM is there are currently two scales...one is Kubrick like the Star Trek ones they did and the other is smaller like the Marvel (and hopefully upcoming DC ones) are...I guess I don't follow AA stuff as close as say MisterPL does...John any knowledge as to standardizing on a scale for all MiniMates?

That's the bad news: Unfortunately, Marvel Minimates set a precedent for the smaller 2" scale. It was a contractual sticking point with Marvel, so for AA it was 2" or nothing. The good news is that the DC Minimates will also be in the 2" scale. Of course THAT contract stipulates that the figures be sold as part of construction block sets (ala Lego), so in order to get Batman & Robin, you'll have to buy a Batmobile.

The LOTR Minimates are also in a unique scale. Hobbits and dwarfs will be 2" (Marvel), Uruk Hai and Elves will use the 3" bodies (Trek), but humans and wizards will utilize a new 2.5" body. Yes, they look great, but I'm only going for the comic book characters since they're all compatible.

Had AA been able to do ALL the lines in a common scale, Minimates would have been the second coming of Mego. (And owned the rest of my wallet.)

Oh well.

Yeah Matt, I got an e-mail from Tim as well, I'm really sorry... I didn't realize that it wasn't supposed to be posted, and I hope I didn't cause anyone here or anywhere else any trouble because of it.  Again, I'm very sorry.

Are there any good display cases that can be used for Kubrick figs?

Official Medicom Display Boxes:
Pros: They're official, they have foot pegs, they interlock and stack
Cons: Kind of pricey, IG88 wont fit (?)

But on the negative side of everything else, beyond it not being "official", you'll be hard pressed to find something that also includes foot pegs.

Anyone know what other toys have the same size foot pegs as Kubrick figs?

I got several Marix Kubricks in the mail today.

Neo, Trinity, Nairobi. Marov..., Pere...

I was really excited until I noticed no weapons ???  I don't want to harp on the negative but what gives.  I can see no weapons for most how about Neo and Trinity who went into that building and reinacted the finale of Scarface!

All in all, I think their cool, could have used an accessory or two.  Removable sunglasses for Neo or a motorcycle for trinity.

I agree with you FishEyedLouie.  No accessories was pretty lame for the Matrix series.  However, I will give them props for the character selection.  Other than Agent Smith and Seraph, they pretty much gave me everything I wanted.  If there is a second series I am really hoping for Smith and Seraph.
