The Spongebob/Patrick 2 pack is out on ebay and looks to be double carded style in design.

New Style packaging for the 2-packs. Probably saves them money.

Well, there have been carded two-packs before this one, so it's not a completely new package design.  I think the choice to make this a carded two-pack may have something to do with the fact that a card can be hung on pegs, whereas the standard two-pack box (see/ star wars) can't.  (Although the new Disney two-packs are boxed yet also have a hanging tab glued on, so who knows?)

Announced at the Medicom Toy Exhibition are some Gremlins kubs. They're most likely a gremlins 2 pack (gizmo and Stripe). Lets hope they're not put in the same vault as the fabled Ghostbusters kubricks (lest we forget) and never seen again.

Medicom update today shows off some new Harry Potter Kubricks - a basic series of 7 (Harry, Ron, Hermione, Hagrid, Dumbledore, Voldemort, Snape) and then a Quiddich Harry & Gryffindor Be@rbrick 2-Pack.

I can't say I love them. Harry, Ron and Hermione might be worth getting.

Forgot the 2-pack

Holy crap.  Those are awesome.  I hate to start a new series, but I might actually try to nab the three kids at least.  Man I wish these were a US product.   >:(

WTF happened to the Ghostbusters Kubricks?

I heard a rumor that they ran into licensing issues (Mattel and/or Mini-Mates), but I don't think anyone has been able to get a direct answer from Medicom.  I'll shoot them an e-mail and see what they say.

I'm all in for the Harry Potter Kubricks.  Next to the Lord of the Rings (already have the Mini-mates) these would have been one of my top choices.

I think the character's look fabulous compared to their on-screen looks.

Oh oh, I think I might have to get those. I resisted the Where the Wild Things Are Kubs, but these are way cool.

That makes a little sense but how did they even get to that point?  I doubt it is Mini Mates either since they have basically copied every single license that Medicom already has done.

Man, the details on those Potter Kubs is really nice, right down to the unique wands.  That's a set that I think would be cool to have.
