For Justin - don't know if you've read about these yet, coming this summer:

In the past, Diamond Select Toys has delivered great assortments of Minimates for the Marvel movies Thor, Iron Man, Captain America: The First Avenger and The Incredible Hulk.Well, this summer they’re taking everything they’ve learned and they’re assembling the most awesome line-up of Minimate heroes ever! Hitting stores this spring, there will be two assortments of figures, one exclusively available at Toys “R” Us stores and on toysrus.com, and another only at comic book shops and specialty stores, but both are packed to the gills with Avengers!

Marvel Minimates Wave 45 (Specialty stores/comic shops)
- Captain America & Thor
- Iron Man MK7 & Hulk
- Nick Fury & REDACTED (exclusive)
- Maria Hill & REDACTED (exclusive)

Marvel Minimates – The Avengers (Toys “R” Us/toysrus.com)
- Captain America & Thor
- Iron Man MK7 & Hulk
- Hawkeye & Black Widow (exclusive)
- Loki & REDACTED (exclusive)

Sweet - thanks for posting these.  I wonder if the first two sets will be the same between comic shops and TRU?  Or will one set be movie-themed and the other comic-themed?  Definitely will be picking these up!

Curious if any of the Kube fan(atic)s on JD collect Superhero Kubricks like Marvel.  I've picked up a few of the old ones (Brown Suit Wolvie, Iron Man, Captain America) and a few from Iron Man 2 (Widow, War Machine) to build a small team of Avengers.  I just got Spiderman off of Ebay as well to round out a full JL case.  Anyone else collecting these?  I have some X-Men as well, but not sure if I'm going to keep them (Storm, Cyclops, Blue/Yellow Wolvie, Colossus).  Maybe I'll rethink that when the Avengers and X-Men face off this fall...

I had started but I lost interest really quickly. I have the first two waves as well as some of the movie figures they released (Daredevil, Fantastic Four)...The line was lacked a focus for my taste so I left it there.

I currently have all of them with the exception of the HMV Spiderman 1 & 2 releases.  I needed to clear up some space so I put up some of the less main-stream figures and boxed sets for sale, however, no one is interested.  I think that Medicom do a really good job with these when they make them, so I'd love to see them do an Avengers set this year.  However, I'm sure we can expect yet another Spiderman wave...

How often have they been coming out with Marvel sets?  Are we getting about one a year?  An Avengers movie set would be great!

I've had the red/blue Spidey and a black Spidey for a while now but that's all I intend to own.

Me, too.  Most of them have been Kubricks, but could use the rest.
