I have the Japanese Originals...that Box Set is sweet too though and $20 is a good price

Padawan in the SW Kubricks thread posted news that Batman Movie Kubricks are on the way, Joker, Penguin, Catwoman and Batman.  Cool beans :)

Well...two Azrael and Spoiler (Chase)

And the key with Kubricks I've found is to wait about 3-4 months after they have been released and pick them up as a set on eBay.  Unless you want the chase, then wait a few weeks after the initial hype dies down and you should be able to pick stuff up fairly reasonably

I'm still catching up myself, there's some stuff I want but don't want to throw out $75 a crack for (like the BTTF Box Sets B, C and D) or $25-$30 for like the Shrek sets.  I also want to get the Scissorhands set and I think I'll have pretty much all that I want as far older stuff goes

I want complete sets of the following:

-Shrek
-Back to the Future
-Minority Report
-Alien

I just don't want to use my funds that I saved for SW on these. I'm hoping for a big drop in Kubrick interest.

I am trying to finsih my Back to the Future Set as well.

As for Marvel Minimates:

Series 8 2-paks:
Mr. Fantastic/Human Torch
Brown Wolverine/Cut-Face Thing
Sue Storm/Big-Chest Thing

1. Mr. Fantastic / Human Torch - Sounds good to me, at leats we are getting 2 new figures.

2. Brown Wolverine / Cut Face Thing - I will probably pass - No need for another Wolverine or Thing (Especially since I already plan to get another with the Super Skrull)

3. Sue Storm / Big Chest Thing - What the hell is big chest Thing. WHy couldn't it be She-Hulk in FF gear. I think this will be the chase set with invisible and visible Sue but it would have been cool to have a double chase set with FF She-Hulk and Purple clothed She-Hulk as well.

Here's hoping for Thor in series 9. Way too many Things.

I'm just not familiar with these, but I saw images of some LOTR ones that were enticing...  What's the prices of things like that running for a set?

The Star Wars stuff looks so neat, but I hear "chase figure" and dread the thoughts...

For the first 10 figures of LOTR they will run $35 to $40 online...the 5 packs are cheaper though I think at TRU, haven't seen a price given but they should be around $10.  I believe the 2 packs will retail at $8 a piece so the 4 packs are the way to go for sure
