Well,

I just bought the 2 LotR 4-packs at TRU for $10.

I think I am finally hooked on these guys after resisting for sooooo long.

Because I am lazy and ca't read the last 27 pages of thread, can someone help me by just pointing out a good starter web-site so I can see what else I need to buy for these?   :-\

Jeff...what do you think of the LOTR 'mates?  I've really been tempted to order these online (they aren't in the stores around here), but I've held off so far.  I enjoy LOTR, and would like to have a small-ish collection of them, and my wife isn't crazy about me expanding my 5 figure Toy Biz collection...so maybe the minimates would be a more space and cost effective avenue to go in.  Just out of curiosity, do you collect the Toy Biz figures as well?  Anyways, from what I have seen online these look great, and of the dozen or so Marvel minimates I have, they can be quite cool and addicting.

I know what you mean about those Kubricks.  I'd really like to get a Han Solo as well, and have thought about asking around to see if anyone here has an extra, but once I have one, I know I'll end up wanting more  :P  Ah well, such is the way with Star Wars collecting ;)

You are correct Simon.

Characteristics of Doppelganger:

Has multifaceted eyes.
His hands and feet have three toes or fingers ending in sharp talons.
He has 6 arms.
Razor sharp teeth.
A Spider-man like costume with a "mouth" hole in his mask.
His name (before he became the Spider-man Doppelganger)was James Dean.
He also possesses most of Spider-man's abilities (to spin a web, speed, agility and strength of a spider.)

I just got the Thundarr the Barbarian I-Men, finally, after wanting them for months. That was one of my favorite cartoons when I was a kid, and I'm pretty stoked to finally get these little boogers. :D

Dang.

Now I'm getting sucked in...

It started just a few days ago with the LotR MiniMates.

Then, last night I picked up a DC Direct Kubrick set.  Now, I'm drooling over the Batman Movie Kubricks.

To top it all off, my Han Solo Kubrick is feeling pretty lonely right now.  For the love of my sanity, NO ONE offer me a Kubrick Early Bird Set with Luke/Leia/R2/Chewy or my OCD will kick-in and I'l have an Army by the weekend.   :-\

Out of character for me, I actually haven't taken any yet. Except for a shot of unopened stuff I got a few days ago. I'll take some shots today. :)

What characters? I'd like Kermit and Gonzo.
