Too bad you missed the Endor Troopers, Paul.  I was hoping to hear your thoughts.

Ok I got 5 in the mail today....let me just say "Swing and a Miss"...

The legs are good, the Boots and Gaiters are well done, the head sculpt (I only got the white guy from my source) is good, but since the head set is sculpted on, it really limits what would have been a good generic human.

The Blasters on all of mine will not fit in the holsters even though there is a nice cut out for the "clip" to fit in, kinda like the DS Gunner and VOTC Stormie.

The new paint aps on the helmet are neat.

Now here is what kills this figure entirely...those dang ARMS.  Here are my 2 complaints (ok here are 2 of my many complaints)

Articulation....there is not a neutral position for them (in my opinion)  This figure is screaming for Ball shoulders (or whatever the new ATAT Driver/DS Gunner/Garindan shoulder is) and I would settle for the slash cut swivel elbow.

My secondary complaint is the "Jacket" they give him.  What is the point of Shoulder articulation(even the limited articulation they give him) if he can't move them because of the "Jacket"...really puzzling.

I know I am nit-picking but Army Builders and Troopers are my main interests, so these are the figures I get more "geeked" over.

I have the other Variant (is it PC to call him the Black variation?) on the way, I can't wait to see the camo.  The paint aps on mine are great so the the camo should be neat to see.

I also got the Endor Luke, for being a re-hash with new accessories and a new hand, this one is pretty cool.  The belt rocks (even if it is too small to fit anybody but Luke)  The poncho is almost as nice as the vintage one.  It is the same material as the capes from the recent figures.

Once the "Variant" of the Endor Soldier comes in, I am basically done till 2007, save a couple astro-mechs in the final 22.

I'll get pics of the figs as soon as the camera charges up.

I found the new Obi-Wan, but that was it. *sigh* I hate leaving stores empty-handed.

I have a feeling Rep will warm like hell.

This whole wave is going to warm. The two armybuilders are nothing like clones or imperials.

I need to go back to EI and see how many of the Gungan reps are around Boss Nass, but I plan on getting at least 4-6 from what I remember.

Rep is not a bad figure. Although he has limited articulation (not that he needs more) it's a great sculpt.

I have both Endor soldier Variants now. Can't say one is particularly better than the other, but the head on the gunner is more disappointing with the long tube attached. I'd rather not have to cut it off to customize.

I remembers seeing 4 in the Gungan City scene.

Just an FYI/warning on the DS2 Darth Vader from this wave:

The red and blue "wires" that protrude from the end of the "stump" are formed from hard, britle plastic. If he happens to fall over onto said stump, these wires will snap off.

Trust me I found out the hard way – now I have to buy another one.   :'(

I haven't seen hide nor hair of this wave locally yet...  Hell the first Endor Figures are still not in most collector's hands in my area.  This is a real drought situation out here again...  It was ok for a while with the Tatooine Wave but we're back to most WM's being baren of figures or clogged with the Epic Battles crappola.   >:(

I was over at Yakface checking out Jayson's new pictures and when I saw this:

I was once again reminded of what Scott said a while back...

I never ever ever want to hear the "pegwarmer" thing again regarding ICMG because if they make this dude, they can make anything

Sure looks like it - if they can make this guy (and pack him at 2x per case no less) then they have no excuses not to make ICMG.

This figure looks even better now! He just might beat the Death Star Gunner for my favorite figure of the year.

I have been looking at that pic for a while today.  I just do not get the attraction.  The figure looks like it belongs in the G.I.Joe line. :-\

*sigh* I've noticed that as well. It's really starting to get ridiculous, I haven't seen anything other than Tat. remnants and GB waves for a little over a month.

Glad to hear that it's not my area though. :) I hope that it'll get better for the repacks wave.
My whole expanse...I cannot see...
