Naboo Soldier is still the best in the wave, if not one of the top army builders ever.

Definitely, right up there with the VOTC stormie and VTSC biker scout.

Exactly.

Really?  Wow, I just do not see it.  I will buy a few of them but I would not place it near my top 5 army builders at all.

No, not really.

Wow yeah, you're losing me on that one Hunter...  I think the Naboo guy is a cool enough figure of a background army builder in TPM...  It's got good articulation and a cool removable helmet and that's all good stuff, but one of the best army builders?

-CW Clonetrooper
-ROTS #41 Clonetrooper
-Saga2 DeathStar Gunner
-POTJ/Saga Imp. Officer (gets a spot simply for being a classic trilogy figure to me)
-VOTC Stormtrooper
-VTSC Biker Scout
-ROTS #6 Clone Trooper (still a better figure than the Naboo Guy)
-ROTS Wookiee Warrior (Preview & Gunner Repaint)
-Evolutions AOTC Trooper/Pilot
-Evolutions ROTS Clone Trooper
-Evolutions Sandtrooper
-OTC TIE Pilot
-Saga2 AT-AT Driver
-Upcoming Endor Rebel Soldier(s)

and I'd (argguably) Saga Captain Antilles...  I view him as an army builder.

To me that's a pretty extensive list of better army builders, not counting some of the repaints of those same figures, and there may be more that could make it on there haha.

Naboo guy's not horrid, he's far from comparable to a lot of the stuff listed above though I think.

Does anyone know about any articulation on the Wave 7 figures of Saga '06?  Are any repaints (Luke Jabba's palace to Luke Endor for example)?

Just click back a few(or several) pages, all the info you could ever need is there. :D

It's been found!

I haven't even gotten Chirpa or the DS Gunner! Hope the Naboo Soldier isn't HTF. For a figure as good as him, I have a feeling he will be.

I read on the GH forums that someone found them here in NE as well (Omaha, I believe), so they must be hitting all over the place - or soon will be.  I hope so, I'm ready for a few new figures and I think I'm only opting for the Endor figs in this assortment - so it should be fairly cheap for a change :).  We've got a lot of Greatest Battles stuff that needs to be cleared out before there's room for anything new though I think.

That doesn't bode well early for the Naboo guy's sales rate. :)

Too bad you missed the Endor Troopers, Paul.  I was hoping to hear your thoughts.

It's not a particularly interesting or exciting figure.  You don't really need an army of these guys.  It looks like it's missing something.  Sure, I'll take 2 or 3, but it's not like I'm gonna go ape**** on it like the Sandie or Scout.

The Naboo Soldier's head is too small for his body...at least that is my assessment.  I put the Evo Dooku head on it and it looks a little better, but the body is still a little "Beefy".

I hit 9 Wal Marts today (I played a bit of hooky from the office) and found NOTHING.  Here is the reason why...all the pegs are clogged with Pregnant Padmes and Vaders from every previous wave.

The Greatest Pegwarmers of EP III waves that they threw out there are keeping the good figures (Endor Troopers and Luke) off the shelves.  I like the hunt to an extent,  but there has to be room on the shelves...Hopefully Hasbro Toy Shop will get this wave.

I'm a little concerned about this as well.  All of the big three (WM, Target, TRU) in our town are pretty packed with the "Greatest Battles" figures - Wal-Mart in particular.  Spilling off of the pegs, and it doesn't even look like the clones are selling for the most part.  Hopefully these won't be shipping as heavily for the rest of the year, because I think people have had their fill.  Other than those, its just a few Lushros Dofines and Hem Dazons hanging about, and not much else.  The Endor wave seems to have come and gone now, I haven't seen any of those for awhile now - although I don't think our Target has gotten that wave yet.  Really looking forward to the remaining Endor figs (Luke and Rebel Soldiers), so hopefully there will be some room once that wave starts hitting locally.
