Go see Posiedon instead.

No thanks, rehashed disaster movies from the 1970's?  Yeesh, how low can we sink.

I missed the scene after the credits so what was it? I know I am going to go see it again (only because my hubby didn't go with me the first time, not because I thought it was anything to go back twice for) but probably won't wait to see it unless I know what it's about.

Beth, it's online. You can go to YouTube & search "X-Men Credits"

Be forward that it is still a spolier for those who have not seen the flick.

Wait... they made Al Gore's book into a movie?   ???

I think I'll just go see Cars instead this weekend... all fun and no "the earth is doomed".   ;)

Haven't seen an Inconvenient Truth yet, but it's on my list.

In the last 8 days I've seen Da Vinci Code, X-Men, the Break Up, and The Omen last night.

X-Men was probably the best of the bunch, but I enjoyed them all.

I have seen Superman Returns and it was... okay.

My two second review, I loved the story/premise, but thought the execution was lacking.

I was in much app amazed by Superman Returns, but there were a couple of things I disagreed with.

Caught "Superman Returns" on a new Christie DLP projector today. Flawless display, pretty miserable movie. Bad plot, uninspired acting, lack of charisma all around, and way, way too long to keep me interested.

I have a super early review of Wolverine, I just read the script. All I'll say is that as long as it's not totally screwed up during production, it should be a winner. Tight story, from a story telling POV, and not knowing much from the X-Men universe, it seemed cleaver and sensible. While it's not the deepest story ever put on paper, it's entertaining and should be a real crowd pleaser.

Next... Transformers.

Just finished reading Transformers. It's amazing to me that people get paid ridiculous sums of money to generate sub-par material. I really wanted to like it, but the movie starts out slow, has three groups of main characters, aside from the transformers, and when all three groups get together, there's no real moment or pay-off.

Now, there were several very satisfying scenes and some of the characters were well done and had some nice qualities. I also really liked how they handled the transformers, their back story was well done and the realism, for example, Soundwave is only 4 feet tall when in robot mode, makes it seem like they could actually be walking around. (A far cry from when Singer was up for the movie and was contemplating making them all the same hight in Robot mode.)

However, given the fact that Michael Bay is directing the movie, I think this is going to turn into a dud. :(

I didn't know Soundwave was in it.  A 4-foot tall Soundwave??!!  That's just ridiculous.

Haven't seen a pic of Soundwave yet, but here's...Bumblebee.  Quite an upgrade from what he was 20 years ago.

SPOILER!

I don't usually judge movies before I've seen them, but I can say with great conviction that this movie is going to suck and suck hard.

Why would they even bother making a full-sized Bumblebee?  Wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to just use the CG modle that'll be used for most of the shots?

I have no idea - maybe for PR?  He looks pretty cool even though some of you think the movie will tank.
